बिलासपुर | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | बलरामपुर जिले के अलका मानपुर गांव में बाघ की धमक से ग्रामीणों में दहशत है। बाघ ने दर्जनभर पालतू पशुओं का शिकार भी किया है। सूचना के बाद वन अमला गांव पहुंचा, जहां बाघ के पदचिन्ह मिले हैं। जंगल में गश्त भी बढ़ा दी गई है। ग्रामीणों को जंगल की तरफ नहीं जाने और सतर्कता बरतने मुनादी कराई गई है।
ग्रामीणों के बताए अनुसार जगहों से पदचिन्हों के फोटोग्राफ्स लेकर वन्य प्राणी विशेषज्ञ को उपलब्ध कराया गया, जिसमें बाघ द्वारा ही घटना को अंजाम देने की बात सामने आई है। डीएफओ विवेकानंद झा ने वन अमले के साथ आसपास के क्षेत्रों का दौरा भी किया।
बलरामपुर जिले के वाड्रफनगर वन परिक्षेत्र के ग्राम अलका मानपुर में बाघ की धमक से ग्रामीण दहशत में है। बाघ ने दर्जनभर पालतू पशुओं का शिकार किया है। सूचना के बाद वनमंडल अधिकारी विवेकानंद झा संबंधित गांव पहुंचे। घटनास्थल के आसपास बाघ के पंजों के निशान पाए गए हैं।
ग्रामीणों के बताए अनुसार सालभर पहले भी क्षेत्र में बाघ आया था। अब फिर बाघ की मौजूदगी और पालतू पशुओं भेंड़-बकरी और गायों का शिकार किए जाने से दहशत का माहौल है। डीएफओ विवेकानंद झा ने बताया कि बाघ की मौजूदगी को ध्यान में रखते हुए कर्मचारियों की मौके पर तैनाती की गई है।
फोटोग्राफ्स वन्य प्राणी विशेषज्ञ को भेजा
डीएफओ ने बताया कि वन प्रबंधन समिति सदस्यों को सुरक्षा एवं समझाइश के लिए कहा गया है। विभाग की ओर से पशु मालिकों को उचित मुआवजा दिया जाएगा। पशु चिकित्सालय वाड्रफनगर को पत्र भेजा गया है। घटना स्थल के पास बाघ के पंजे का निशान मिला है।
बरसात की वजह से पगमार्क स्पष्ट दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था, इसलिए पंजे को ट्रेश कर प्लास्टर ऑफ पेरिस से कास्टिंग की गई है। पदचिन्हों की फोटो लेकर वन्य प्राणी विशेषज्ञ अंकित जायसवाल को उपलब्ध कराया गया। उन्होंने जांच के बाद पदचिन्हों को बाघ का होना बताया। वन विभाग को अलर्ट रहने कहा गया है।

According to the villagers, photographs of footprints were taken from the places and made available to the wildlife expert, in which it has come to the fore that the tiger was carrying out the incident. DFO Vivekananda Jha along with the forest staff also visited the surrounding areas.
The villagers are in panic due to the threat of tiger in village Alka Manpur of Vadrafnagar forest range of Balrampur district. The tiger has hunted a dozen domestic animals. After the information, Forest Divisional Officer Vivekanand Jha reached the respective village. Tiger claw marks have been found around the spot.
According to the villagers, a year ago also a tiger had come to the area. Now again there is an atmosphere of panic due to the presence of tigers and hunting of domestic animals like sheep and goats. DFO Vivekanand Jha said that keeping in mind the presence of the tiger, employees have been deployed on the spot.
Photographs sent to wildlife expert
The DFO said that the members of the Forest Management Committee have been asked for protection and advice. Proper compensation will be given to the animal owners by the department. A letter has been sent to Veterinary Hospital Vadrafnagar. A tiger’s claw mark was found near the spot of the incident.
Due to the rain, the pugmark was not clearly visible, so the paws have been trashed and cast with plaster of paris. Photographs of footprints were made available to wildlife expert Ankit Jaiswal. After investigation, he told the footprints to be of a tiger. The forest department has been asked to remain alert.
