रायपुर | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | राजस्थान के जालोर में पिछले दिनों मेधावी दलित छात्र की सिर्फ इसलिए हत्या कर दी गई क्योंकि उसने सवर्ण प्राध्यापक छैल सिंह के मटके से पानी पी लिया था। इसके विरोध में संयुक्त मोर्चा का 21 अगस्त रविवार की शाम 5 बजे छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर में डॉ. आंबेडकर प्रतिमा स्थल, घड़ी चौक पर सांकेतिक धरना- प्रदर्शन व कैंडल मार्च का आयोजन किया गया है। संयुक्त मोर्चा ने प्रदेशभर के दलित समाज को एकजुट होकर बड़ी संख्या में प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने की अपील की है।
भारत आजादी की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ मना रहा है, लेकिन भारत अभी भी जाति, भेद-भाव, छुआछूत की जंजीरों में जकड़ा हुआ है। आलम यह है कि दलित समाज आज भी हजारों साल पुरानी व्यवस्था में जीवन यापन करने को मजबूर है। गांवों में आज भी जातियों के हिसाब से तालाब के घाट बंटे हुए हैं जो हमारी आजादी पर प्रश्न चिन्ह लगाता है।
पिछले दिनों राजस्थान के जालोर में मेधावी दलित छात्र इंद्र कुमार मेघवाल की हत्या का मामला मीडिया में सुर्खियों में रहा। मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक प्राध्यापक छैल सिंह ने 9 साल के मासूम बच्चे को इतना पीटा कि अस्पताल में 22 दिन के लंबे संघर्ष के बाद दलित बच्चे की अस्पताल में मौत हो गई।
बच्चे की मौत से पूरा देश स्तब्ध है। दलित समाज में भारी आक्रोश है। देशभर में दलित समाज के लोग एकजुट हो रहे हैं। जालौर, राजस्थान में 9 वर्षीय मेधावी छात्र इंद्र कुमार मेघवाल की जातीय भेदभाव के कारण हुई हत्या का विरोध देशभर के लोग कर रहें हैं, देश में मानवता बचाने व जातीय मानसिकता के लोगों को नेस्तनाबूत करने के लिए हमें इकट्ठा होना आवश्यक है।

United Front’s sit-in protest and grand candle march against the murder of a Dalit child in Raipur on August 21
Raipur | [Chhattisgarh Bulletin] | In Jalore, Rajasthan, a meritorious Dalit student was murdered just because he drank water from a pot of upper caste professor Chhail Singh. In protest against this, a symbolic sit-in demonstration and candle march has been organized at the Dr. Ambedkar statue site, Ghari Chowk in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, at 5 pm on Sunday, August 21. The United Front has appealed to the Dalit community across the state to unite and participate in the demonstration in large numbers.
India is celebrating 75th anniversary of independence, but India is still trapped in the chains of caste, discrimination, untouchability. Alam is that even today the Dalit society is forced to live in the thousands of years old system. Even today, the ghats of the pond are divided according to castes in the villages, which puts a question mark on our independence.
Recently, the case of murder of meritorious Dalit student Inder Kumar Meghwal in Rajasthan’s Jalore made headlines in the media. According to media reports, Professor Chail Singh beat up a 9-year-old innocent child so much that after a 22-day long struggle in the hospital, the Dalit child died in the hospital.
The entire nation is shocked by the death of the child. There is huge resentment in the Dalit society. People of Dalit society are uniting across the country. People from all over the country are protesting against the murder of 9-year-old meritorious student Inder Kumar Meghwal in Jalore, Rajasthan due to caste discrimination, it is necessary for us to gather to save humanity and destroy the people of caste mentality in the country.
