मानव-वन्यजीव के बढ़ते संघर्ष मामलों पर सरकार से मांगा जवाब maanav-vanyajeev ke badhate sangharsh maamalon par sarakaar se maanga javaab
नैनीताल | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बढ़ते मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष व तेंदुओं के हमले को लेकर हाईकोर्ट नैनीताल में दायर जनहित याचिका पर सुनवाई हुई। मामले को सुनने के बाद कोर्ट ने सरकार से 4 सप्ताह के भीतर जवाब पेश करने को कहा है। बीते शनिवार को कार्यवाहक मुख्य न्यायाधीश संजय कुमार मिश्रा एवं न्यायमूर्ति आलोक कुमार वर्मा की खंडपीठ ने मामले की सुनवाई की।
मामले में देहरादून की समाजसेवी अनु पंत ने याचिका दायर की है। इसमें कहा है कि प्रदेश के पर्वतीय जिलों में मानव वन्यजीवों का संघर्ष बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। प्रदेश के कई जिले इससे प्रभावित हो रहे हैं। आए दिन मानव इन जंगली जानवरों के शिकार हो रहे हैं। खासकर मानवों पर तेंदुए के हमले बढ़ते जा रहे हैं।
प्रत्येक वर्ष औसतन 60 लोग तेंदुओं के हमले में मारे जाते हैं। पर्वतीय जिलों में 2020 में तेंदुए के हमले में 30 लोग मारे गए थे, जबकि 85 लोग घायल हुए थे। कहा है कि इससे पहाड़ों में पलायन भी बढ़ रहा है।
पलायन आयोग ने भी माना है कि 2016 में छह प्रतिशत लोग इस कारण पलायन को मजबूर हुए हैं। याचिकाकर्ता की ओर से मांग की गई है कि एक कमेटी का गठन किया जाए।
Answer sought from the government on the increasing conflict cases of human-wildlife
Nainital | [Court Bulletin] | The hearing was held on the PIL filed in the High Court Nainital regarding the increasing human-wildlife conflict and attack of leopards in the mountainous areas. After hearing the matter, the court has asked the government to submit its reply within 4 weeks. On Saturday, a division bench of Acting Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Justice Alok Kumar Verma heard the matter.
A petition has been filed by Dehradun’s social worker Anu Pant in the matter. It has been said in this that the conflict between human and wildlife is increasing in the hilly districts of the state. Many districts of the state are being affected by this. Human beings are falling prey to these wild animals every day. Leopard attacks on humans in particular are increasing.
An average of 60 people are killed each year in leopard attacks. In the hill districts, 30 people were killed and 85 were injured in leopard attacks in 2020. It is said that due to this migration in the mountains is also increasing.
The Migration Commission has also admitted that in 2016, six percent of the people were forced to migrate due to this. The petitioner has demanded that a committee be constituted.
