दुर्ग | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | जिले में बोरी में बंद महिला की लाश की गुत्थी को पुलिस ने सुलझा दिया। आरोपियों ने पुराने विवाद में महिला के सिर पर हथौड़े से वार कर बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी थी। उसके बाद लाश को बोरी में भरकर सुलभ शौचालय के सेप्टिक टैंक में डाल दिया। किसी को जानकारी न हो इसलिए गटर को ढक्कन भी बंद कर दिया। हत्या की वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद आरोपी बेखौफ हो गए। शुक्रवार को डीएसपी क्राइम नसर सिद्धिकी व नेवई थाना की पुलिस ने हत्याकांड का खुलासा किया।
सेप्टिक टैंक साफ करने के दौरान सफाई कर्मियों को नजर बोरी पर पड़ी और उसे बाहर निकाला तो उसमें लाश मिली। इसके बाद पुलिस को सूचना दी गई थी। पुलिस ने 2 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
शुक्रवार को डीएसपी क्राइम नसर सिद्धिकी व नेवई थाना की पुलिस ने हत्याकांड का खुलासा किया। 23 जून को स्टेशन मरोदा शीतला पारा स्थित सुलभ शौचालय के गटर में एक बोरी मिली थी, जिसके अंदर लाश महिला की लाश थी। मृतका की पहचान भाना बाई साहू (40 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई थी।
महिला मूलत: धमतरी जिले की रहने वाली थी। वह काफी दिनों से भिलाई में अकेले रह रही थी। पुलिस ने प्राथमिक जांच में भाना बाई की मौत किसी ठोस वस्तु से सिर पर वार करना से होना पाया था। पुलिस ने अज्ञात आरोपी के खिलाफ धारा 302, 201, 120 दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की।
आरोपी की पतासाजी के लिए नेवई थाना प्रभारी ममता अली शर्मा के नेतृत्व में थाना नेवई एवं एसीसीयू की संयुक्त टीम गठित बनाई गई। टीम को मुखबिर से सूचना मिली कि मृतका के घर के आसपास उसके पड़ोसी सोनू नेताम उर्फ झोल्टा को देखा गया था। पुलिस ने सोनू नेताम को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की। पहले तो वह गुमराह करता रहा, लेकिन कड़ाई से पूछताछ करने पर वह टूट गया।
उसने बताया कि पुराने विवाद को लेकर उसने अपने साथी जशवंत देशलहरे उर्फ जान के साथ मिलकर 17-18 जून की दरम्यानी रात मृतका के घर गया था। पुरानी बात को लेकर फिर विवाद हुआ। सोनू नेताम उर्फ झोल्टा ने अपने साथ लेकर गए लोहे के हथौड़े से भाना बाई के सिर पर ताबड़तोड़ कई बार वार कर हत्या कर दी और लाश को सेप्टिक टैंक में फेंक दिया। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को जेल भेज दिया है। वहीं हत्या में प्रयोग किए गए हथौड़े को जब्त किया है।

The deceased was identified as Bhana Bai Sahu (40 years old).
The woman was originally from Dhamtari district. She was living alone in Bhilai for a long time. In the preliminary investigation, the police had found Bhana Bai to have died due to a blow to the head with a solid object. Police started investigation by registering section 302, 201, 120 against unknown accused.
A joint team of police station Navyi and ACCU was formed under the leadership of Newai police station in-charge Mamta Ali Sharma to trace the accused. The team got information from the informer that his neighbor Sonu Netam alias Jholta was seen around the house of the deceased. The police interrogated Sonu Netam by taking him into custody. At first he kept misleading, but on rigorous interrogation, he broke down.
He told that he had gone to the house of the deceased on the intervening night of 17-18 June, along with his partner Jashwant Deshlahare alias Jaan, regarding the old dispute. There was a dispute again regarding the old matter. Sonu Netam alias Jholta killed Bhana Bai by hitting her on the head several times with an iron hammer and dumped the body in a septic tank. Police has sent both the accused to jail. The hammer used in the murder has been confiscated.
