नई दिल्ली | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश एनवी रमना ने गुरुवार को पुराने दिनों को याद करते हुए वकीलों से कहा कि “हम पेड़ के नीचे खड़े रहते थे। आप भाग्यशाली हैं कि आपको चैंबर मिले। जस्टिस रमना ने कहा कि वकालत का अभ्यास करने के लिए कोई जगह मिलना एक बड़ा उपकार है।” वकील सुप्रीम कोर्ट परिसर में वकीलों को कक्षों के आवंटन को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका की तत्काल सुनवाई की मांग कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने कहा, मैं आपको बता सकता हूं, दिल्ली को छोड़कर देश में कहीं भी आपको चैंबर नहीं मिलते हैं। अदालत की प्रशासनिक शाखा 468 वकीलों की एक सूची के साथ सामने आई है जिन्हें कक्ष आवंटित किया जाएगा।
कक्षों के आवंटन के कुछ पहलुओं को चुनौती देने वाली एक याचिका दायर की गई है और एक पीठ जिसमें न्यायमूर्ति कृष्ण मुरारी और न्यायमूर्ति हिमा कोहली भी शामिल हैं, उसने इसे 25 जुलाई को सुनवाई के लिए सूचीबद्ध करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है।
