नई दिल्ली | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | दिल्ली, पटना और आंध्र प्रदेश के उच्च न्यायालयों में जजों के रूप में नियुक्ति के लिए केंद्र को 15 न्यायिक अधिकारियों एवं अधिवक्ताओं के नामों की सिफारिश सुप्रीम कोर्ट के कॉलेजियम ने की है। कोर्ट की वेबसाइट में शुक्रवार को अपलोड किए गए 3 अलग-अलग कॉलेजियम प्रस्तावों के मुताबिक दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय में न्यायाधीशों के रूप में नियुक्ति के लिए 7 अधिवक्ताओं के नामों की सिफारिश की गई है।
इसी तरह पटना उच्च न्यायालय में भी 7 न्यायाधीशों की नियुक्ति की जाएगी, जिन्हें निचली अदालतों से पदोन्नत किया जाएगा। दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय में न्यायाधीशों के पदों के लिए जिन वकीलों के नाम प्रस्तावित किए गए हैं, उनमें विकास महाजन, तुषारराव गेडेला, मनमीत प्रीतम सिंह अरोड़ा, सचिन दत्ता, अमित महाजन, गौरांग कंठ और सौरभ बनर्जी शामिल हैं।
दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में न्यायाधीशों की संख्या अधिकतम 60 है। इसके अलावा एक अन्य निर्णय में कॉलेजियम ने 4 मई 2022 को हुई अपनी बैठक में पटना उच्च न्यायालय में 7 न्यायिक अधिकारियों को न्यायाधीश के रूप में पदोन्नत करने के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी।
इन न्यायिक अधिकारियों में शैलेंद्र सिंह, अरुण कुमार झा, जितेंद्र कुमार, आलोक कुमार पांडे, सुनील दत्त मिश्र, चंद्र प्रकाश सिंह और चंद्रशेखर झा के नाम शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा, कॉलेजियम ने आंध्र प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय में अधिवक्ता महबूब सुभानी शेख को न्यायाधीश के रूप में पदोन्नत करने के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी।
कॉलेजियम में मुख्य न्यायाधीश के अलावा जस्टिस यूयू ललित और एएम खानविल्कर शामिल हैं।
New Delhi | [Court Bulletin] | The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the names of 15 judicial officers and advocates to the Center for appointment as judges in the High Courts of Delhi, Patna and Andhra Pradesh. According to three separate collegium resolutions uploaded on the court’s website on Friday, the names of 7 advocates have been recommended for appointment as judges in the Delhi High Court.
Similarly, seven judges will be appointed in the Patna High Court, who will be promoted from the lower courts. The lawyers whose names have been proposed for the posts of judges in the Delhi High Court include Vikas Mahajan, Tusharrao Gedela, Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, Sachin Dutta, Amit Mahajan, Gaurang Kanth and Saurabh Banerjee.
The maximum number of judges in the Delhi High Court is 60. Apart from this, in another decision, the Collegium in its meeting held on May 4, 2022 also approved the proposal for promotion of 7 judicial officers as judges in the Patna High Court.
The names of these judicial officers include Shailendra Singh, Arun Kumar Jha, Jitendra Kumar, Alok Kumar Pandey, Sunil Dutt Mishra, Chandra Prakash Singh and Chandrashekhar Jha. Besides this, the collegium also approved the proposal to elevate advocate Mehboob Subhani Shaikh as a judge in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Besides the Chief Justice, the collegium comprises Justices UU Lalit and AM Khanwilkar.
