उदयपुर | [राजस्थान बुलेटिन] | देशभर के दलित समाज के लोग अब एकजुट होने लगे हैं। राजस्थान के जालोर में दलित छात्र की पिटाई से मौत के बाद इसमें तेजी आई है और दलित समाज तेजी से संगठित हो रहा है। दलित समाज ये बात अच्छी तरह जान गया है कि एकता में ही शक्ति है। इसी क्रम में राजस्थान कांग्रेस पार्टी में इस्तीफों की झड़ी लग गई है।

अब उदयपुर जिला परिषद में कांग्रेस के सदस्य विनोद कुमार मेघवाल ने मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत को अपने पद से इस्तीफा भेज दिया है। इस्तीफे में लिखा है- आजादी के 75 साल बाद भी दलित वंचित वर्ग पर अत्याचार जारी है। इसलिए मैं अपने जिला परिषद सदस्य पद से इस्तीफा दे रहा हूं।

जिला परिषद सदस्य विनोद कुमार मेघवाल ने मुख्यमंत्री से कहा कि हमारे समाज के लोग जिस प्रकार से यातनाएं झेल रहे हैं, उसको शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता है। प्रदेश में दलित और वंचितों को मटकी से पानी पीने के नाम पर, घोड़ी पर चढ़ने और मूंछ रखने पर यातनाएं दी जा रही हैं। ऐसे मामलों में जांच के नाम पर फाइलों को इधर से उधर घुमाया जा रहा है। यही कारण है कि कुछ सालों में दलितों पर अत्याचार की घटनाएं लगातार बढ़ रही है।

मेघवाल ने आगे लिखा है कि बाबा साहेब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर ने संविधान में जो समानता के अधिकार का प्रावधान किया है, उसकी रक्षा करने वाला कोई नहीं है। दलितों पर हुए अत्याचार के ज्यादातर मामलों में एफआईआर लगा दी जाती है। जब हम हमारे समाज के अधिकारों की रक्षा करने और न्याय दिलाने में नाकाम होने लगे तो हमें पद पर रहने का भी कोई अधिकार नहीं है।

आपको बता दें कि दो दिन पहले जालोर के एक गांव में टीचर छैल सिंह ने दलित समाज के छात्र के साथ जमकर मारपीट की जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। आरोप है कि मटकी से पानी पीने को लेकर यह विवाद हुआ था।

दौसा जिले से भी आया त्याग पत्र

इस मामले को लेकर दौसा जिले से भी त्याग पत्र आया है। यहां वार्ड संख्या 12 से जिला परिषद सदस्य कल्याण साहय गोठवाल (बैरवा) ने अपना त्याग पत्र दिया है। कल्याण सहाय गोठवाल ने भी अपने त्याग पत्र में अमूमन यही बातें लिखी हैं। उन्होंने लिखा है कि जब हम संवैधानिक अधिकारों की रक्षा करने और उन्हें न्याय दिलाने में नाकाम हैं तो इस पद पर रहने का क्या फायदा।

बता दें कि राजस्थान के जालोर में टीचर छैल सिंह की पिटाई से दलित बच्चे की मौत के बाद बारां-अटरू के कांग्रेस विधायक पानाचंद मेघवाल ने सबसे पहले इस्तीफा दे दिया था। मेघवाल ने अपना इस्तीफा मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत और विधानसभा स्पीकर को भेजा था। इसमें उन्होंने टीचर की पिटाई से दलित छात्र की मौत से आहत होने को इस्तीफे की वजह बताई है।

Now Vinod Kumar Meghwal, a member of Congress in Udaipur Zilla Parishad, has sent his resignation from his post to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. It is written in the resignation – even after 75 years of independence, the atrocities on the Dalit deprived class continue. That’s why I am resigning from my Zilla Parishad member post.

Zilla Parishad member Vinod Kumar Meghwal told the Chief Minister that the manner in which the people of our society are suffering cannot be described in words. Dalits and downtrodden are being tortured in the state in the name of drinking water from a pot, for climbing a horse and keeping a moustache. In such cases, files are being moved here and there in the name of investigation. This is the reason that the incidents of atrocities on Dalits are increasing continuously in few years.

Meghwal has further written that there is no one to protect the right of equality which Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has provided in the constitution. In most cases of atrocities against Dalits, FIRs are filed. When we fail to protect the rights of our society and get justice, then we have no right to be in office.

Let us tell you that two days ago in a village of Jalore, teacher Chhail Singh fiercely assaulted a student of Dalit society, due to which he died. It is alleged that there was a dispute over drinking water from the pot.

 Resignation letter also came from Dausa district

A resignation letter has also come from Dausa district regarding this matter. Here Kalyan Sahai Gothwal (Bairwa), Zilla Parishad member from ward number 12, has given his resignation letter. Kalyan Sahai Gothwal has also written generally the same things in his resignation letter. He has written that when we have failed to protect constitutional rights and get them justice, then what is the use of being in this post.

Baran-Atru Congress MLA Panachand Meghwal was the first to resign after the death of a Dalit child due to the beating of teacher Chhail Singh in Jalore, Rajasthan. Meghwal had sent his resignation to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and the Speaker of the Assembly. In this, he has given the reason for his resignation because of being hurt by the death of a Dalit student due to the beating of the teacher.
