नई दिल्ली / प्रयागराज / कोलकाता | [नेशनल बुलेटिन] | बीजेपी प्रवक्ता नूपुर शर्मा (अब निलंबित) की पैगंबर मोहम्मद पर टिप्पणी को लेकर बवाल थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। बीते सप्ताह शुक्रवार को कानपुर में इस मसले पर जमकर हिंसा हुई थी और इसे लेकर उत्तर प्रदेश की बीजेपी सरकार बेहद सतर्क रही। यूपी में तो प्रयागराज और सहारनपुर को छोड़कर कमोबेश शांति बनी रही, लेकिन देश के अन्य राज्यों में विरोध प्रदर्शन हुए।
इसकी पहली तस्वीर दिल्ली की जामा मस्जिद से सामने आई, जहां जुमे की नमाज के बाद बड़ी संख्या में लोग नारेबाजी करने लगे। इन लोगों के हाथों में बीजेपी की निलंबित प्रवक्ता नूपुर शर्मा और भाजपा नेता नवीन जिंदल की तस्वीरों वाले पोस्टर थे। इनकी मांग थी कि नूपुर शर्मा और जिंदल के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। हालांकि मस्जिद के शाही इमाम ने इस प्रदर्शन से किसी भी तरह के संबंध से इनकार किया।
प्रयागराज में बिगड़े हालात, सहारनपुर में भी प्रदर्शन
दिल्ली के अलावा यूपी के सहारनपुर में बड़ी संख्या में लोग सड़कों पर उतरे और प्रयागराज में तो हालात कानपुर जैसे होते-होते बचे। बड़ी संख्या में सड़कों पर उतरे लोगों ने प्रयागराज में हिंसक प्रदर्शन किया और पथराव भी करने लगे। संकरी गलियों से रुक-रुक पत्थरबाजी होती रही। यहां तक कि आईजी भी इस पथराव में घायल हो गए।
इसके अलावा लखनऊ, फिरोजाबाद और कानपुर जैसे शहरों में पुलिस बेहद सतर्क रही और इसके चलते किसी तरह का उपद्रव नहीं हो सका। यूपी के अलावा बंगाल के हावड़ा, झारखंड की राजधानी रांची में भी जमकर प्रदर्शन हुए हैं।
रांची में भी प्रदर्शनकारियों के हमले में कई पुलिसकर्मियों के जख्मी होने की खबर है। यही नहीं गुजरात के अहमदाबाद जैसे शहरों में भी भारी भीड़ सड़क पर नजर आई।
हैदराबाद, कोलकाता में सड़कों पर उतरी भीड़
कोलकाता के पार्क सर्कस इलाके और हैदराबाद के चारमीनार में भी बड़ी संख्या में लोग सड़कों पर उतर आए। इसके अलावा कश्मीर के श्रीनगर में भी लोगों ने नूपुर शर्मा के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए प्रदर्शन किए।
महाराष्ट्र के नवी मुंबई में तो बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं भी सड़कों पर उतरीं और नूपुर शर्मा के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की। हालांकि राहत की बात रही कि किसी भी स्थान पर स्थिति बेकाबू नहीं होने पाई और प्रशासन ने हालात को संभाल लिया।
यूपी में पहले से ही सख्ती थी और सुबह से ही ड्रोन से निगरानी की जा रही थी। वहीं सड़कों पर बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया था ताकि किसी तरह के उपद्रव को रोका जा सके।
गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्यों को जारी किया था अलर्ट
इस बीच खबर है कि केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय की ओर से सभी राज्यों को पहले से ही अलर्ट जारी किया गया था कि जुमे पर प्रदर्शन हो सकते हैं। गौरतलब है कि बीते सप्ताह कानपुर में हुए हिंसक प्रदर्शन और पथराव के बाद से ही यह आशंका जताई जा रही थी कि अगले जुमे को एक बार फिर से हालात बिगड़ सकते हैं।
गौरतलब है कि यह मामला अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी चर्चा का विषय बना था। कतर, सऊदी अरब, ईरान, मलयेशिया, बहरीन, यूएई समेत कई इस्लामिक देशों ने इस मसले पर आपत्ति जाहिर की थी। कई देशों ने तो भारत के राजदूत को भी इस पर तलब किया था।
वायरल हो रहे पोस्टर का भी असर
दरअसल सोशल मीडिया पर कुछ दिनों से एक पोस्टर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा था, जिसमें 10 जून को पैगंबर मोहम्मद पर टिप्पणी के विरोध में भारत बंद की बात कही गई थी। यह ऐलान किसी बड़े संगठन की ओर से तो नहीं था, लेकिन माना जा रहा है कि सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल इस पोस्ट के चलते भी देश के तमाम शहरों में इतनी बड़ी संख्या में लोग जुटे थे।

People who took to the streets in large numbers demonstrated violently in Prayagraj and also started pelting stones. Intermittent stone pelting continued through the narrow streets. Even the IG got injured in this stone pelting.
Apart from this, in cities like Lucknow, Firozabad and Kanpur, the police remained very alert and due to this there could be no disturbance. Apart from UP, there have been fierce demonstrations in Howrah in Bengal, Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.
In Ranchi too, there are reports of several policemen getting injured in the attack by the protesters. Not only this, huge crowds were also seen on the road in cities like Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
Crowds took to the streets in Hyderabad, Kolkata
A large number of people also took to the streets in Park Circus area of Kolkata and Charminar in Hyderabad. Apart from this, people also demonstrated in Srinagar, Kashmir, demanding action against Nupur Sharma.
In Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, a large number of women also took to the streets and demanded strict action against Nupur Sharma. However, it was a matter of relief that the situation did not become uncontrollable at any place and the administration handled the situation.
There was already strictness in UP and surveillance was being done with drones since morning. At the same time, a large number of police forces were deployed on the roads so that any kind of disturbance could be stopped.
Home Ministry had issued an alert to the states
Meanwhile, there is news that an alert was already issued by the Union Home Ministry to all the states that there could be demonstrations on Friday. Significantly, since the violent protests and stone pelting in Kanpur last week, it was feared that the situation could worsen once again in the next Friday.
It is worth noting that this matter had also become the subject of discussion at the international level. Many Islamic countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Malaysia, Bahrain, UAE had raised objections on this issue. Many countries had even summoned the Ambassador of India on this.
