हरिद्वार | [उत्तराखंड बुलेटिन] | दलित नेता व दो बार के विधायक प्रत्याशी रह चुके जगदीश चंद्र के हत्याकांड मामले में पुलिस की जांच जारी है। अल्मोड़ा के भिकियासैंण ब्लॉक में रविवार को जांच टीम ने घटनास्थल में कई अहम सुराग जुटाए हैं। टीम ने गांव-गांव जाकर कई लोगों से गहन पूछताछ भी की है। बता दें कि बीते 1 सितंबर 2022 को सवर्ण युवती से प्रेम विवाह करने वाले दलित नेता जगदीश चंद्र की युवती के सौतेले पिता और भाई ने निर्मम हत्या कर दी थी।
मामला तूल पकड़ा देख केस रेगुलर को ट्रांसफर किया गया था। जिसके बाद पुलिस ने सीओ रानीखेत को जांच अधिकारी नामित किया। इधर, जांच अधिकारी सीओ ने बताया कि रविवार को फॉरेंसिक टीम के साथ घटना स्थल में अहम सुराग जुटाए। वहीं कई लोगों को चिह्नित कर गहन पूछताछ की गई। उन्होंने बताया कि मामले में जल्द ही रिपोर्ट उच्चाधिकारियों को दी जाएगी।
अपहरण कर ले गए और कर दी हत्या
दलित से विवाह की सूचना के बाद से सौतेले भाई वा परिजन उसके पति के जान के दुश्मन बने हुए थे। जगदीश के ससुराल वालों ने जगदीश चंद्र को भिकियासैंण में पकड़ लिया था। उसके बाद वह लोग जगदीश चंद्र का एक गाड़ी से अपहरण कर ले गए। उसके बाद बेरहमी से जगदीश की हत्या कर दी। सूचना पर पुलिस और राजस्व की टीम ने देर शाम गाड़ी से जगदीश का लहुलूहान शव बरामद कर लिया।
गांव में अभी भी दहशत का माहौल
गांव में घटना के बाद लोग दशहत में है। घटना से गांव का हर कोई व्यक्ति स्तब्ध है। लोगों ने जल्द से जल्द घटना में शामिल दोषियों को कड़ी सजा देने की मांग की है। वहीं विभिन्न संगठनों ने भी जल्द से जल्द जांच पूरी कर दोषियों को फांसी की सजा देने की मांग उठाई है।
एसएसपी भी घटनास्थल जांच को पहुंचे
पनुआद्योखन सल्ट निवासी दलित नेता जगदीश चंद्र की अपहरण कर हत्या की जांच पुलिस ने तेज कर दी है। जांच के लिए रविवार को एसएसपी ने पुलिस टीम के साथ भिकियासैंण के बिनायक मार्ग पर स्थित सेलापानी नामक स्थान पर पहुंचकर घटनास्थल का मुआयना कर टीम को निर्देश दिए।
दो बार के विधायक प्रत्याशी रह चुके थे जगदीश
उत्तराखंड परिवर्तन पार्टी से 2 बार विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ चुके सल्ट के पनुवाधौखन निवासी जगदीश चंद्र पुत्र केश राम और भिकियासैंण निवासी गीता सिंह उर्फ गुड्डी ने बीते 21 अगस्त को गैराड़ मंदिर में प्रेम विवाह किया था। शादी से पहले गुड्डी सिंह अपने सौतेले पिता जोगा सिंह और सौतेले भाई गोविंद सिंह के साथ रहती थी। एक दलित से शादी करना उसके सौतेले भाई और पिता को रास नहीं आया और दोनों ने मिलकर जगदीश की निर्मम हत्या कर दी।

Jagdish was a two-time MLA candidate
Jagdish Chandra, son of Kesh Ram, a resident of Panuwadhokhan, Salt, who had contested the assembly elections for two terms from the Uttarakhand Parivartan Party, and Geeta Singh alias Guddi, a resident of Bhikiyasain, had a love marriage on August 21 in the Garad temple. Before marriage, Guddi Singh lived with her step-father Joga Singh and half-brother Govind Singh. Marrying a Dalit, her half-brother and father did not like it and together they killed Jagdish mercilessly.
