बेंगलुरु | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | धार्मिक स्थलों, पब और रेस्टोरेंट सहित कहीं भी रात 10 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे के बीच लाउडस्पीकर के इस्तेमाल पर प्रतिबंध को सख्ती से लागू करने का निर्देश कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार को दिया है। लाउडस्पीकर, सार्वजनिक संबोधन प्रणालियों और वाद्य यंत्रों के दुरुपयोग को रोकने के लिए मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस रितु राज अवस्थी और जस्टिस अशोक एस किनागी की खंडपीठ ने अधिकारियों को अभियान चलाने तथा 3 सप्ताह में अदालत को कार्रवाई की रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया।

अदालत ने कहा, ‘संबंधित अधिकारियों को उचित कार्रवाई करने की आवश्यकता है और वे रात 10 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे तक लाउडस्पीकर, सार्वजनिक संबोधन प्रणाली और अनुमेय डेसिबल से अधिक ध्वनि उत्पन्न करने वाले संगीत वाद्य यंत्रों के उपयोग की अनुमति नहीं देंगे।’

अधिकारियों को अभियान चलाने का निर्देश

हालांकि, सरकारी वकील ने अदालत को बताया कि ध्वनि प्रदूषण (विनियमन और नियंत्रण) नियम और पुलिस अधिनियम के तहत ऐसा कोई लाइसेंस नहीं दिया गया है। अदालत ने इस बयान को दर्ज किया और अधिकारियों को अभियान चलाने तथा रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया। याचिका पर सुनवाई तीन सप्ताह के लिए स्थगित कर दी गई है। यह याचिका राकेश पी ने 2021 में दायर की थी।

Loudspeakers banned in Karnataka after 10 pm

Bangalore | [Court Bulletin] | The Karnataka High Court has directed the state government to strictly enforce the ban on use of loudspeakers anywhere between 10 pm and 6 am, including religious places, pubs and restaurants. A division bench of Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi and Justice Ashok S Kinagi directed the officials to launch a campaign and submit the action taken report to the court within three weeks to prevent misuse of loudspeakers, public address systems and musical instruments.

“The authorities concerned need to take appropriate action and they will not allow the use of loudspeakers, public address systems and musical instruments producing sound in excess of permissible decibels from 10 pm to 6 am,” the court said.

 Instructions to the officers to run the campaign

However, the public prosecutor told the court that no such license has been granted under the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules and the Police Act. The court recorded this statement and directed the officials to launch the operation and submit the report. Hearing on the petition has been adjourned for three weeks. This petition was filed by Rakesh P in 2021.
