नई दिल्ली | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | सुप्रीम कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश एनवी रमना आज यानी शुक्रवार को रिटायर हो रहे हैं। बता दें कि वे इससे पहले वे 5 अहम मामलों की सुनवाई कर रहे हैं। हालाँकि इन सभी के बीच अटॉर्नी जनरल केके वेणुगोपाल ने कहा, ‘आपके रिटायरमेंट से हम एक बुद्धिजीवी और एक उत्कृष्ट न्यायाधीश को खो रहे हैं।’ दूसरी तरफ एक सीनियर एडवोकेट कोर्ट रूम में ही रोने लगे और रोते हुए उन्होंने कहा- ‘आप जनता के जज हैं।’
आप सभी को बता दें कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के इतिहास में यह पहला मौका है जब किसी CJI की सेरेमोनियल बेंच की लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग हुई। जिसे सुप्रीम कोर्ट की वेबसाइट पर वेबकास्ट किया गया। एनवी रमना कोर्ट की 16 बेंच में सुनवाई के लिए मास्टर ऑफ रोस्टर केस डिस्ट्रीब्यूट करते रहे हैं।
हालाँकि बीते दिनों मुकदमों की लिस्टिंग को लेकर वे सुप्रीम कोर्ट की रजिस्ट्री के आगे बेबस नजर आए थे। जी दरअसल 17 अगस्त को सुनवाई के लिए लिस्टेड एक केस को रजिस्ट्री ने हटा लिया था।

ऐसे में CJI रमना बेहद नाराज हो गए थे और उन्होंने कहा था कि वे इस मुद्दे पर 26 अगस्त को अपने विदाई भाषण में बोलेंगे। हालांकि उन्होंने विदाई भाषण के दौरान इतना कहा कि, ‘पेंडेंसी का मुद्दा सबसे बड़ी चुनौती है और मैं मानता हूं कि लिस्टिंग एक ऐसा एरिया है जहां मैं ज्यादा ध्यान नहीं दे सका। इसके लिए मुझे खेद है।
सिस्टम में सुधार करने का एकमात्र तरीका है आधुनिक तकनीकों और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलीजेंस को तैनात करना। लेकिन कमर्शियल ऑर्गनाइजेशन के उलट हम मार्केट से इन्हें नहीं खरीद सकते।’ इसके अलावा रमना ने यह भी कहा था कि ऐसे कई मुद्दे हैं, जिन पर सवाल उठाना चाहते हैं, लेकिन वे पद छोड़ने से पहले बोलना नहीं चाहते थे।

In such a situation, CJI Ramana became very angry and said that he would speak on this issue in his farewell speech on August 26. However, during the farewell speech, he said that, ‘The issue of pendency is the biggest challenge and I agree that listing is an area where I could not pay much attention. I’m sorry for that.
The only way to improve the system is to deploy modern technologies and artificial intelligence. But unlike commercial organisations, we cannot buy them from the market. Apart from this, Ramana had also said that there are many issues which want to be questioned, but he did not want to speak before leaving the post.
