परिचय– बारां, राजस्थान.

आपकी तरहां बिल्कुल आप सा ही,
मैं भी हूँ एक इंसान इस जमीन पर,
आप अमीर है तो मैं दौलत दिल की,
मैं भी आपकी तरहां मालिक हूँ अपना,
आप गरीब है तो मैं भी गरीब झूठ का
बिल्कुल खाली हाथ आपकी तरहां मरने पर,
गुलाम हूँ मैं भी आपकी तरहां अपने रब का,
और जी रहा हूँ मैं भी जी आजाद आपकी तरहां।

फिर भी आप समझते हो मुझको अलग इंसान,
मुझमें भी तो है एक इंसान मौजूद आपकी तरहां,
लेकिन ना मैं हिन्दू हूँ और ना ही मुसलमान,
मैं स्वयं गुरु हूँ हर दीन का इंसानियत के लिए,
आबाद हूँ मैं भी आपकी तरहां यहाँ कहीं पर,
और जी आजाद हूँ निभाने को अपना फर्ज।

लगते हैं यहाँ आपकी तरहां नारे मेरे भी,
निकलता हूँ बाहर तो होती है भीड़ मेरे साथ भी,
जिंदाबाद, जिंदाबाद कहते हुए मुझको सच में,
हाँ ,यह सच है कि मैं बोलता कम हूँ ,
फिर भी देखता हूँ सब कुछ आपकी तरहां,
और समझता हूँ सब कुछ आपकी तरहां,
सच मैं भी एक हस्ती हूँ आपकी तरहां,
इस जमीं पर ,जी आजाद इस हिंदुस्तान में।

Just like you, just like you
I am also a human being on this land,
If you are rich then I am of wealth heart,
Like you, I am the owner of my own,
If you are poor then I am also poor of lies
On dying like you empty handed,
I am a slave like you to my Lord,
And I am living free like you.

Still you understand that I am a different person,
There is a person in me too, just like you.
But I am neither Hindu nor Muslim,
I myself am the Guru of every deen for humanity,
I am settled like you here somewhere,
And I am free to fulfill my duty.

Your slogans seem like mine too,
When I come out, there is a crowd with me too,
Truly calling me Zindabad, Zindabad,
Yes, it’s true that I speak less
Still I see everything like you,
And I understand everything is like you,
Truly I am also a celebrity like you,
On this land, in this free India.
