परिचय– बुलन्दशहर, उत्तर प्रदेश.

गांव की गलियों से लेकर
शहर के चौराहे तक,
स्कूल के गेट से लेकर
दफ्तर तक,
गांव के चुनाव से लेकर
पार्लियामेंट तक ।
हर जगह पहचान होती है
जाति से ।
घर की दहलीज से लेकर
कब्रिस्तान की मिट्टी और
श्मशान की राख तक,
पीछा नही छोड़ती है जाति!
कब्रिस्तान की मिट्टी में
गल सड़ गया शरीर,
श्मशान में राख हो गया
पर जाति अभी भी
स्तंभ बनी खड़ी है।

Caste

from village streets
to the city square,
from the school gate
to the office,
from village elections
Till the Parliament.
is recognized everywhere
By caste.
from the threshold of the house
graveyard soil and
to the ashes of the crematorium,
Caste does not give up!
in the graveyard
rotten body,
ashes in the crematorium
but the caste is still
The pillar is standing.
