आईने में खुद को बार देखना

मन ही मन गुनगुनाना |

सब कुछ भूला देती है वो

जब चेहरा उसका देखता हूँ ||

नाम उसका हाथों में लिखना

फिर मिटाना फिर लिखना |

खोया खोया सा रहता हूँ

बावला हो गया हूँ ||

छुप – छुपकर तुम्हे देखना

फिर छुप जाना |

डर लगता है कही तुम

मुझे देख न लो ||

तुम्हारा चेहरा चांदनी

की तरह चमकती हुई

माथे की बिंदी |

बरसते बारिश की

बूंदो की तरह  ||

हवाओं को भी चैन कहाँ

बार – बार तुम्हारे बालों को छेड़ते |

तुम्हारे होंठ गुलाब के

पंखुड़ियों की तरह ||

तुम्हारी आँखो की गहराई

बहुत कुछ बयां करती है |

ये काले काले खुले बाल

हवाओं में लहराती हुई ||

दिल को सुकून मिलता है

तुम्हारा होना, जीने की|

उम्मीद जगाती है

जिंदगी क्या है ||

तुम्हारी होठों की मुस्कान

गाल पर काला तिल |

खूबसूरती और भी बढ़ जाती है

जब तुम मुस्कुराती हो ||

तुम्हारा इठलाना

सहेलियों के साथ |

बचपना तुम्हारा

खुशनुमा माहौल हो जाता है ||

तुम्हारा गुस्सा

चिलमिलाती धुप की तरह

तुम्हारी बातें |

दिल में बस जाती है ||

ख़ामोशी सी छा जाती है

जब – तुम मायुश हो जाती हो |

तुम्हारा न होना

पतझड़ सा लगता है ||
