परिचय- मुंगेली, छत्तीसगढ़.

प्रिय से फुलवारी में मिलकर प्रेम की वर्षा,

अद्भुत आनंद की अनुभूति करता रसराज।

एकांत में किसी दिन डूब जाता गहरी सोच,

शब्द जाल फैला काव्य लिखता कविराज।।

भावों को अभिसिंचित अभिव्यक्ति देकर,

बनता हूं रचनात्मक क्रान्तदर्शी महाकवि।

जाता कहीं भी कल्पनाओं की उड़ान भर,

घोर अंधकार को उजाला करता मैं हूं रवि।

गगन से उतार देता हूं जमीन पर चांद को,

मैं बनाकर विश्वसुंदरी,मनमोहिनी,अप्सरा।

टिमटिमाते तारों से जड़ित अंग आभूषण,

नील परिधान से सुसज्जित लगती सुंदरा।।

छंदों में बंध कर नाचती अपनी नृत्यशैली,

अलंकारों से बढ़ता रूपवती वनिता शोभा।

गुण विशिष्टता से परिपूर्ण कविता की रानी,

नव शब्दशक्ति से फैलाती चहुंओर आभा।।

रुप यौवन की रोशनी मुझ पर हुई आभासी,

समा गई दिलदार दिल मुझे करके दीवाना।

उनसे बात करता हूं अकेले में चुपके-चुपके,

मुझे प्रेमी कवि कहता है यह सारा जमाना।।

Kaviraj !

The rain of love meeting the beloved in the flowerbed,
Rasraj feels wonderful bliss.
Someday deep thinking drowns in solitude,
Kaviraj writes poetry spreading word.

By expressing the feelings,
I become a creative revolutionary great poet.
Wherever the flight of imagination goes,
I am the sun that gives light to the darkest of darkness.

I take off the moon from the sky,
By making me Vishwasundari, Manmohini, Apsara.
Organ ornaments studded with twinkling stars,
Beautifully dressed in blue dress.

His dance style dancing in verses,
Rupvati Vanitha Shobha rising from the ornaments.
Queen of poetry full of virtues,
Aura spread all over with new words.

The light of youth appeared on me,
The heart of the heart was absorbed by making me crazy.
I talk to him secretly in private,
This whole era calls me a lover poet.
