कभी ये सोचा न था तेरे बिना जियेंगे कैसे,

तेरे बिन इस मतलबी दुनिया से लड़ेंगे कैसे,

पल भर में बदल जाते है रिश्ते नाते,

ऐसी अजीब दुनिया में रिश्ते संभालेंगे कैसे ।।

रखती थीं तुम हर छोटी चीजो का ख्याल,

रखती थीं तुम हर घर के छोटे बड़े हिसाब,

न रहती थीं कोई चिंता किसी बात की,

खुद ही समय से हर काम कर लेती थीं तुम ।।

परिवार को एक सूत्र में पिरोया था तुमने,

हर छोटी बड़ी जरूरतों को पूरा किया था तुमने,

न पड़ जाए बच्चे किसी परेशानी में,

इसलिए अपनी बीमारियों को छुपाया तुमने ।।

रह गयी शायद कोई कमी पूजा पाठ में,

अपनी माँ को मौत के मुंह में जाने से न रोक पाए हम,

करते थे व्रत अपने इष्ट देव का,

कोई भी व्रत का फल देके अपनी माँ को न बचा पाए हम।।

Never thought that how would you live without you,
How will you fight this mean world without you?
Relationships change in a moment,
How to handle relationships in such a strange world.

You used to take care of every little things,
You used to keep small and big accounts of every house,
Didn’t live to worry about anything,
You used to do everything on your own on time.

You had tied the family together,
You had fulfilled every small and big need,
Children should not get into any trouble,
That’s why you hid your diseases.

Maybe there was some deficiency in the worship recitation,
We could not stop our mother from going to death,
used to fast for his favorite god,
We cannot save our mother by giving the fruit of any fast.
