मौसम जैसे बदल गए जो उन इंसानों का गम क्या
अपने ही जब रहे न अपने तो बेगानों का गम क्या

नेकियाँ मेरी भूल गए हैं वो तो कोई बात नहीं
जो दरिया में डाल दिए उन एहसानों का गम क्या
==============================
हम जैसे न जाने कितने आए, आकर चले गए
चार रोज़ के मेहमां हैं हम से मेहमानों का गम क्या
==============================
ज़ोर लगा लेने दो अपनी एड़ी-चोटी का उनको
अगर यकीं है अपने ऊपर तो तूफानों का गम क्या

मेरी बर्बादी पर न अफसोस करो दुनिया वालो
खुद की आग में जलते हुए परवानों का गम क्या
