परिचय– बारां, राजस्थान.

देखा है उसको हमेशा,

मुस्कराते हुए मैंने,

रुलाना नहीं चाहता उसको,

दूर रहता हूँ इसीलिए उससे,

कहता नहीं हूँ उससे मन की बात।

नफरत है मेरी सूरत से उसको,

और मैं करता हूँ प्यार उसको,

पी लेता हूँ अपने ऑंसुओं मैं,

महफ़िल में छुपकर उससे,

ताकि बदनाम नहीं हो वह।

खिलता हुआ गुलाब है वह,

लाजवाब माहताब है वह,

दीवानें है हजारों उसकी सूरत के,

लेकिन बेख्याल है वह इनसे,

मैं छुपाता हूँ उसको इनसे।

ताकि वह नासाज नहीं हो,

शायद उसको होगा यकीन,

मेरी शराफत और प्रेम पर,

मगर रहना चाहता हूँ मैं,

उससे अभी दूर इसलिए कि,

वह खुश और आबाद रहे,

और राज उसको मालूम नहीं हो।

he doesn’t know the secret

Have seen him always
I smiled,
He doesn’t want to cry
I stay away from him that’s why
I do not say my mind to him.

He hates my appearance,
and i love him,
I drink my tears
Hiding from him in the gathering,
So that he doesn’t get maligned.

She is a blooming rose,
He is a wonderful lover,
Thousands are crazy about his face,
But he is upset with them,
I hide it from him.

so that she does not become ill,
Maybe he’ll believe
On my kindness and love,
But I want to stay
away from him because,
May he be happy and inhabited,
And he does not know the secret.
