जग लुभाती रिम-झिम बरसती सावन है।
ये मौसम, ये बहारें कौतूहल बने हरदिल के नयन नशीले हैं,
बादलों की चालबाजी, छिपते-छिपाते ये रवि
की मस्तियाँ हैं।
झूमकर आई मतवाली सावन अब उसे भी इंद्रधनुषी बन जाना है,
अलौकिक रजनी, चांद क्यों बेताब है अब उसे भी उदय होना है।
शाम तु थम सा जाना क्षितिज की स्वर्णिम लुभा रही हैं,
ग्रह नक्षत्रों की मस्त मंडली नभ में अटखेलियां खा रही हैं।
अस्त हो रहा सूरज, खग् मृगों की मधुर स्वर जग ब्याप्त है,
रजनी चांदनी से आबाद है, ये वक्त बड़े नसीब से आई है।
ये मस्त बहारें, हरियाली नजारें ये नयनों को मस्त लुभा रही हैं,
चांद की चांदनी प्रखर ना हो जाए, गोरी तु क्यों शरमा रही है।
हम तुम अकेले गुलाबी बागों में चांदनी का पहरा अति सुहावना है,
चलो चलें चंद्रलोक इस जग में हम दोनों कातिलों के नजरों में हैं।
जग लुभाती रिम-झिम बरसती सावन है।
