मैं हूं, सिद्धिका
और मैं अपने
सम्मान-अधिकार के लिए
तब-तक संघर्ष करूँगी
जब-तक मुझे न्याय ने
मिल जाए।
कहती हूं, अपनी कहानी
जो सपना मैंने अपने
माता-पिता व विद्यालय
‘हैप्पी आर्स, रायला, भीलवाड़ा
परिवार सहित देखा।
दसवीं में, उपखंड स्तर पर प्रथम आने का
वो पूरा हुआ, 97 % अंकों के साथ
खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा।
लेकिन मुझे क्या पता था,
ये खुशी पल-भर की है।
मेरे साथ अन्याय कर,
न जाने किस आधार पर
93% अंक छात्र आमीर
को सम्मानित किया गया।
जो सर्वथा गलत है।
मैं पूछती हूं, उपखण्ड अधिकारी जी से…
मैं पूछती हूं, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी जी से…
मैं पूछती हूं, सम्मान करने वाले समाज के ठेकेदारों से…
आखिर मुझे दसवीं में
सर्वश्रेष्ठ आने पर भी
प्रोत्साहित क्यों नहीं किया गया?
मेरे स्थान पर कम अंक छात्र को
क्यों सम्मान किया गया?
क्या आप निर्णय लेने में असक्षम हैं,
तो हमें दीजिए, आपके पद
पर कार्य करने का अधिकार
ताकि हम सही निर्णय कर सकें।

finally i in tenth
even when the best
Why not encouraged?
less marks to the student in my place
Why was it respected?
are you incapable of making decisions,
so give us, your post
right to work
so that we can make the right decision.
