घृणा प्रेम

न्याय-अन्याय

मान-अपमान

समानता-असमानता

का अन्तर सीखाना है

अपने बच्चों को

समय के साथ बदलते हुए

तिरस्कार के उन सूक्ष्म

युक्तियों से भी अवगत कराना है

ताकि समझ सकें

कौन यहाँ

हमारा दिल से सम्मान करता है

और कौन अपमान

बच्चों में वह समझ भी विकसित करनी है

जिससे ये सहिष्णुता न साधे

ताकि होने वाले प्रत्येक शोषण के ख़िलाफ़

आवाज़ बुलन्द कर सकें

अपने विद्रोही होने का विरासत

इन्हें सौंप कर जाना भी तो है

जिससे

न्याय, अधिकार, समानता, मानवता एवं

जल जंगल ज़मीन के लिए जंग जारी रहे

उन शोषकों के विरुद्ध

जाते-जाते बच्चों के हाथ में

कलम देकर जाना है

किन्तु इसका मतलब यह नहीं

कि इन्हें हथियार चलाना भी न आये

शान्ति-अशान्ति के बीच

हिंसा-अहिंसा की सीमा और आत्मरक्षा के

महीन अन्तर को भी समझाना है ।

So that against every exploitation that takes place
be able to raise your voice

The battle for water, forest, land continues
against the exploiters

in the hands of children
pen to go
but that doesn’t mean
that they don’t even know how to use weapons
in the midst of peace
Violence – limits of non-violence and self-defense
Even the smallest difference has to be explained.
