यह तो वक़्त बतायेगा yah to vaqt bataayega

परिचय– बारां, राजस्थान.
किसी ने कहा कि आप महान हो,
क्योंकि उसने देखा था मेरी ईमानदारी,
किसी ने कहा कि आप बहुत अच्छे हो,
क्योंकि उसने देखी थी मेरी आत्मा ,
और किसी ने कहा कि मैं गलत हूँ ,
क्योंकि उसने देखा था मेरे सच को।
अब यह तो वक़्त ही बतायेगा,
कि मैं कितना सच्चा और झूठा हूँ ,
कि मैं कितना ईमानदार और भ्रष्ट हूँ,
यह तो वक़्त ही तय करेगा अब,
कि मैं कितना महान और पापी हूँ
कि मैं कितना अच्छा और बुरा हूँ।
वह जो मेरे दिल के करीब है,
कहता है मुझको वह अधम,
क्योंकि उसको नफरत है मुझसे,
फिर भी आग उस दिल में भी है,
जो जला रही है मेरे लिए उस दिल को,
धीरे – धीरे वह ले रही है एक रूप,
और तलाश रही है एक माध्यम,
मुझ तक पहुंचने के लिए सच में।
मोहब्बत उसको भी है मुझको,
फूल उस गुलशन में भी महका है,
मगर कुछ नियमों में वह बन्ध है,
समाज और परिवार का भय है,
यह तो वक़्त ही बतायेगा कि,
कब उसके बढ़ेंगे कदम मेरी तरफ।
किसी ने कहा है कि वह मजबूर है,
और मैं जी आजाद हूँ जीवन में,
वह कैद है एक सवाल बनकर,
अब कब मिलेगा उससे जवाब,
इस सवाल और उसकी आजादी का,
और कब चमकेगा सितारा हमारे प्रेम का,
यह तो वक्त ही बतायेगा।
Somebody said you’re great
Because he saw my honesty,
Somebody said you’re very nice,
Because he had seen my soul,
And someone said I’m wrong
Because he had seen my truth.
Now only time will tell,
how true and false I am,
how honest and corrupt I am,
Only time will decide this now
that I am so great and sinful
How good and bad I am.
the one who is close to my heart,
He tells me that he is inferior,
because he hates me,
Still there is fire in that heart too,
The heart that is burning for me,
Slowly she is taking a form,
And looking for a medium,
Really to reach me.
I love him too
The flower is also fragrant in that gulshan,
But it is bound in some rules,
Fear of society and family,
Only time will tell that,
When will his steps move towards me?
Somebody said that he is forced,
And I am free in life,
He is imprisoned as a question,
Now when will you get the answer from him,
of this question and its freedom,
And when will the star of our love shine,
Only time will tell.
