कहानी
तीन चार दिनों में सुधीर बिल्कुल स्वस्थ हो गया मगर जबतक वो अस्पताल में भर्ती रहा जूही प्रतिदिन उसे देखने जरूर जाती थी। साथ में कुछ फल फूल जरूर लेकर जाती थी और उसका हाल चाल पूछती थी।
कुछ ही दिनों में जूही एक ईमानदार बीडीओ के नाम से काफी प्रसिद्ध हो चुकी थी। हर पंचायत में उसने जनता दरबार लगा कर गरीबों की समस्याएं सुनकर उनका निपटारा करती थी कि उनको दूर दराज से ब्लॉक ऑफिस आकर पैसा न खर्च करना पड़े। उनको अपना काम धंधा हर्जा न करना पड़े। सरकार की हर कल्याणकारी योजनाओं का सबको पूरा लाभ मिले इसका पूरा ख्याल रखती थी।
उसने अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र में आने वाले प्रखंड स्तर के सभी विभागों की नियमित मासिक बैठक तय कर दिया ताकि बैठक में सभी विभागों में आम लोगो की योजनाओं का निष्पादन किया जा सके।
अब आम लोगो को किसी भी काम के लिए बार बार ऑफिस का चक्कर नही लगाना पड़ रहा था।
धीरज स्वस्थ होते ही रविवार के दिन बाइक उठाया और अपनी चाय की दुकान खोलने स्टेशन पहुंच गया।
स्टेशन मास्टर ने तीन चार दिन नही आने का कारण पूछा तो उसने उस रात की सारी घटना बता दिया।मास्टर ने बड़ा अफसोस जाहिर किया और खुशी भी जताया की तुम बच गए।
सुधीर ने जब बताया कि उस रात जिसे वो अपनी बाइक पर ले गया वो और कोई नहीं नई बीडीओ साहिबा थी। मगर उन्होंने उस रात किसी को बताया भी नहीं।
सुनकर स्टेशन मास्टर को बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ। सुधीर ने आगे बताया कि जूही मेडम ने जिला प्रशासन को स्टेशन से लेकर शहर तक लाइटिंग के लिए पत्र लिख दिया है। साथ ही अब पुलिस रात में हमेशा निगरानी करेगी स्टेशन मार्ग की। सुनकर स्टेशन मास्टर काफी खुश हुआ।
करीब दस बजे जूही ने सुधीर को फोन किया। सुधीर ने उसका अभिवादन किया। जूही ने पूछा अभी कहा हो सुधीर। सुधीर ने बता दिया स्टेशन पर अपनी चाय की दुकान पर है। इतना सुनते ही जूही भड़क गई। चाय की दुकान खोलने मना की थी न तुमको, फिर क्यों खोला। तुम रुको मैं वही आ रही हूं। सुधीर कोई जवाब देता इससे पहले जूही ने फोन काट दिया।
करीब आधे घंटे बाद जूही अपनी सरकारी गाड़ी से वहां स्टेशन पहुंच गई और दनदनाते हुए सुधीर की दुकान पर पहुंच गई। उसको देखते ही सुधीर अपनी टेबल से उठ खड़ा हुआ और टेबुल को साफ कर उसकी तरफ रख दिया और कहा बैठिए मैडम।
जूही ने गुस्से से कहा मैं बैठने नहीं आई हूं। तुमसे बात करने आई हूं। मेडम बात भी कर लेंगे पहले आप बैठिए तो चाय पीजिए फिर बात करतें हैं। सुधीर ने बड़े अदब से जूही को सम्मान देते हुए कहा।
उस रात आपको पहचान भी न पाया और न आपने बताया इसका मुझे बड़ा अफसोस है। अगर आज आप एक बीडीओ के रूप में मेरी दुकान पर आईं हैं तो मुझे अपनी सेवा करने का मौका दें मैडम।
जूही ने उसकी बातें अनसुनी करते हुए गुस्से से कहा – जब मैंने तुम्हें मना किया था दुकान नहीं खोलने तो फिर तुमने क्यों दुकान खोली।
सुधीर ने हाथ जोड़कर कहा मैडम मुझे पता है आपने मना किया था मगर मेरे पास इसके कोई उपाय भी नहीं है। आपको तो पता ही है मेरे परिवार की जिम्मेवारी मुझपर ही है। अगर धंधा नहीं करूंगा तो घर कैसे चलेगा मैडम।
जूही का गुस्सा अभी भी ठंडा नहीं हुआ – मुझे सब पता है। मैं कोई पागल नहीं हूं जो तुमको यूं ही मना की थी, कुछ सोचकर ही कहा था।
उसकी आवाज सुनकर स्टेशन पर इधर उधर घूम रहे लोग जमा होने लगे। स्टेशन मास्टर को जैसे ही पता चला नई बीडीओ मैडम सुधीर की चाय दुकान पर आई है वो भी भागा भागा आया, उसने जूही को प्रणाम किया, मगर जूही ने उसकी तरफ कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया।
सुधीर ने हाथ जोड़कर कहा- मैडम अपना गुस्सा ठंडा कीजिए सब लोग देख रहे हैं। आप शांत हो। आराम से बात करते हैं।
मेरा गुस्सा तभी ठंडा होगा जब तुम अभी के अभी अपनी दुकान बन्द करो और मेरे साथ चलो।
तुमको पुलिस ऑफिसर बनना है। क्या तुमको लगता है चाय बेचकर बन जाओगे। कभी नहीं बन पाओगे। जूही ने फिर गुस्सा जाहिर करते हुए कहा।
सुधीर को कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा था क्या करे क्या न करे। भीड़ भी जमा हो रही थी। उसने कुछ सोचा.. ठीक है मैडम। आप बैठिए चाय पीजिए। मैं दुकान बंद कर आपके साथ चलता हूं। आप शांत हो। इतना सुनकर जूही थोड़ी शांत हुई और टेबुल पर बैठ गई।
केवल चाय पिलाओगे बिस्कुट नहीं खिलाओगे। जूही ने मुस्कुराते हुए सुधीर से कहा।
जी जी मैडम लीजिए बिस्कुट भी खाइए। सुधीर ने एक प्लेट में कुछ बिस्कुट उसकी तरफ बढ़ा दिया।
तुम भी बिस्कुट खाओ और अपने लिए भी चाय ले लो मैं अकेले चाय नहीं पीऊंगी।
जी ठीक है मैडम मैं भी लेता हूं। सुधीर ने फुर्ती से एक कप चाय अपने लिए भी कतेली से डाल लिया और बिस्कुट निकालने लगा। जूही ने उसे रोकते हुए कहा मेरी प्लेट से बिस्कुट लो। सुधीर ने संकोच करते हुए बिस्कुट उठा लिया। पता नहीं मैडम का गुस्सा फिर भड़क उठे।
चाय पीते ही जूही उठ खड़ी हुई और बोली, मैं बाहर गाड़ी में तुम्हारा इंतजार कर रही हूं। तुम तुरंत अपनी दुकान बंद कर आओ।

Story
Sudhir became completely healthy in three to four days, but Juhi used to visit him every day till he was admitted in the hospital. She used to take some fruits and flowers along with her and inquired about her condition.
Within a few days, Juhi had become quite famous as an honest BDO. In every panchayat, he used to organize public court and listen to the problems of the poor and settle them so that they do not have to spend money by coming to the block office from far and wide. They should not have to pay for their business. She used to take full care of all the welfare schemes of the government so that everyone gets full benefits.
He fixed a regular monthly meeting of all the departments at the block level coming under his jurisdiction so that the plans of the common people could be executed in all the departments in the meeting.
Now common people did not have to make rounds of office again and again for any work.
As soon as Dheeraj recovered, he picked up the bike on Sunday and reached the station to open his tea shop.
When the station master asked the reason for not coming for three or four days, he told the whole incident of that night. The master expressed great regret and also expressed happiness that you were saved.
When Sudhir told that that night the one he took on his bike was none other than the new BDO Sahiba. But he didn’t even tell anyone that night.
The station master was surprised to hear this. Sudhir further told that Juhi madam has written a letter to the district administration for lighting from the station to the city. Also, now the police will always monitor the station route at night. The station master was very happy to hear this.
Around ten o’clock Juhi called Sudhir. Sudhir greets him. Juhi asked now where are you Sudhir? Sudhir told that he is at his tea shop at the station. Juhi got furious on hearing this. You were not forbidden to open a tea shop, then why did you open it? You wait, I am coming here. Before Sudhir could answer, Juhi hung up the phone.
After about half an hour, Juhi reached the station there in her official car and reached Sudhir’s shop with a rage. On seeing her, Sudhir stood up from his table and cleaned the table and placed it on its side and said sit madam.
Juhi said angrily, I have not come to sit. I have come to talk to you Ma’am will also talk, first you sit, then drink tea, then let’s talk. Sudhir said respectfully to Juhi.
I did not even recognize you that night and I am very sorry for not telling you. If you have come to my shop today as a BDO, then give me a chance to serve you, madam.
Juhi, ignoring his words, said angrily – when I told you not to open the shop, then why did you open the shop.
Sudhir folded his hands and said, madam, I know you had refused, but I have no solution for this. You know that the responsibility of my family is on me. If I don’t do business, how will I run the house, madam?
Juhi’s anger still hasn’t cooled down – I know it all. I am not a lunatic who had just refused you, said something after thinking.
Hearing his voice, people roaming here and there started gathering at the station. As soon as the station master came to know that the new BDO has come to Madam Sudhir’s tea shop, he also ran away, he bowed to Juhi, but Juhi did not pay any attention to him.
Sudhir said with folded hands- Madam, cool your anger, everyone is watching. you calm down talk comfortably.
My anger will subside only when you close your shop for now and come with me.
You want to become a police officer. Do you think you will be able to sell tea? will never be able to Juhi again expressed anger and said.
Sudhir was not able to understand what to do or not to do. The crowd was also gathering. He thought something.. ok ma’am. You sit and drink tea. I will close shop and go with you. you calm down Hearing this, Juhi calmed down a bit and sat down on the table.
You will give only tea, not biscuits. Juhi smiled and said to Sudhir.
Jiji ma’am, take biscuits and eat biscuits too. Sudhir extended some biscuits in a plate towards him.
You also eat biscuits and take tea for yourself too, I will not drink tea alone.
It’s okay ma’am, I’ll take it too. Sudhir hurriedly poured a cup of tea for himself with a kettle and started taking out the biscuits. Juhi stopped him and said, take the biscuits from my plate. Sudhir hesitantly picked up the biscuit. I don’t know, madam’s anger flared up again.
After drinking tea, Juhi stood up and said, I am waiting for you in the car outside. You close your shop immediately.
