पुलिस को आशंका है कि यह सुसाइड का मामला हो सकता है। पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच में जुटी हुई है। वहीं सूचना मिलने के बाद इलाके के आसपास के लोगों की भारी भीड़ जुटी हुई है। बताया जाता है कि यह किसी डॉक्टर का परिवार था।

घटना मुंबई से करीब 350 किलोमीटर दूर सांगली जिले के म्हैसल का है। सांगली जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक दिक्षित गेदम के मुताबिक नौ में तीन लाशें एक ही जगह पर पाई गई हैं। वहीं छह अन्य लाशें घर के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में थीं। मरने वालों में चार महिलाएं और पांच पुरुष हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि यह एकसाथ आत्महत्या करने का मामला हो सकता है।

हालांकि मौत की सही वजह, पोस्टमार्टम के बाद ही स्पष्ट होगी। वहीं अधिकारियों का दावा है कि मरने वालों ने किसी जहरीले पदार्थ का सेवन किया था।
