नई दिल्ली | [नेशनल बुलेटिन] | कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष के चुनाव में पार्टी के सामने चुनौतियां आती जा रही हैं। खबरें हैं कि पहले भी कमान संभाल चुके राहुल गांधी इस बार चीफ नहीं बनना चाह रहे। साथ ही कहा जा रहा है कि वह गांधी परिवार से बाहर के नेता को प्रमुख का पद पर चाहते हैं। अभी तक उम्मीदावारों के नामों को लेकर स्थिति साफ नहीं हो पाई है। इससे पहले मौजूदा अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी भी उदयपुर चिंतिन शिविर में यह बात कह चुकी हैं। 21 अगस्त से 20 सितंबर के बीच कांग्रेस प्रमुख का चुनाव हो सकता है।

कांग्रेस ने 20 अगस्त तक आंतरिक चुनाव प्रक्रिया पूरी कर ली है। 21 अगस्त से 20 सितंबर तक चुनाव का भी ऐलान हो चुका है, लेकिन कई प्रयासों के बाद भी राहुल गांधी ने अपना मत साफ नहीं किया है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक चुनाव प्रक्रिया समय पर पूरी होने के लिए तैयारियां पूरी हो चुकी हैं। इधर, सेंट्रल इलेक्शन अथॉरिटी के अध्यक्ष कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी की मीटिंग का इंतजार कर रहे हैं, जो चेयरमैन के चुनाव के लिए तारीखों की घोषणा करेगी।

सूत्रों ने कहा कि राहुल अध्यक्ष पद के लिए चुनाव लड़ने के इच्छुक नहीं हैं और इसके चलते प्रक्रिया अटकती दिख रही है। खबर है कि पार्टी में उन्हें मनाने की कोशिशें जारी हैं। सूत्रों ने दावा किया है कि वह चाहते हैं कि अध्यक्ष गैर-गांधी को दिया जाए और इसलिए वह बहन प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा को भी नामांकन करने से रोक रहे हैं। वहीं, सोनिया स्वास्थ्य संबंधी कारणों के चलते पद पर नहीं रहना चाहतीं।

कांग्रेस राहुल को मनाने की कोशिश कर रही है और प्रियंका को दूसरे विकल्प के तौर पर देख रही है। सूत्र बताते हैं कि अगर ऐसा नहीं होता है तो सोनिया को पार्टी एकता के नाम पर 2024 तक पद पर बने रहने के लिए कहा जाएगा। वहीं, अगर उम्मीदवारी को लेकर परेशानी जारी रहती है तो अशोक गहलोत, मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, केसी वेणुगोपाल, कुमारी शैलजा और मुकुल वासनिक जैसे नेताओं के नाम पर सहमति बन सकती है।
