प्रयागराज के करोड़पति सफाई कर्मचारी कहे जाने वाला धीरज जिला कुष्ठ रोग विभाग में स्वीपर के पद पर नौकरी करता था। वह करोड़पति है। इस बात का खुलासा इसी मई के महीने में तब हुआ था जब बैंक वाले धीरज को खोजते हुए कुष्ठ रोग विभाग पहुंचे थे। इसके बाद धीरज को करोड़पति स्वीपर कहकर लोग बुलाने लगे थे। धीरज ने यह संपत्ति अपने पिता और खुद की मेहनत से कमाई थी। धीरज को पिता सुरेश चंद्र जिला कुष्ठ रोग विभाग में सफाई कर्मचारी के पद पर कार्यरत थे। नौकरी में रहते उसकी मौत हो गई। इसके बाद दिसंबर 2012 में उसके पिता की नौकरी धीरज को मिल गई।
धीरज के पिता ने कभी खाते से नहीं निकाले रुपये
धीरज अपने पिता के नक्शे कदम पर चलता था। नौकरी में रहते हुए धीरज के पिता ने कभी खाते से अपनी सैलरी नहीं निकाली थी। वही हाल धीरज का भी था। पिता की जगह नौकरी पाए बेटे ने भी कभी धोखे से भी रुपये नहीं निकाले। घर का खर्च चलाने के लिए धीरज पिता की तरह ही सड़क पर चलते लोगों, विभागीय लोगों से रुपये मांगता रहता था। धीरज की मां को पेंशन मिलती थी, उससे भी धीरज घर खर्च चलाता था लेकिन कभी खाते से रुपये निकालने नहीं जाता था। लेकिन धीरज हर साल सरकार को इनकम टैक्स देता था।
न शादी की और न ही कोई शौक पाला
धीरज अस्पताल कैंपस में अपनी मां और एक बहन के साथ रहता था। शादी की बात करने पर वह वहां से भाग जाता था। उसे यह डर था कि कहीं कोई उसके रुपये न निकाल ले। धीरज दिमाग से कमजोर था, लेकिन वह ड्यूटी पर पूरी मेहनत करता था। खास बात यह है कि वह कभी छुट्टी नहीं लेता था।
