Picture of Sheikh Abdullah removed from police medal, now there will be Ashoka Pillar

Srinagar | [National Bulletin] | The Jammu and Kashmir administration has taken the decision to remove the picture of Sheikh Abdullah from the Police Service Medal for outstanding service. The National Conference has erupted on this and has called it a wrong decision. The National Conference said that this decision is an attempt to erase the history of Jammu and Kashmir, but that Sheikh Abdullah will always be in the hearts of the people.

Let us inform that on Monday itself, an order was given by the Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard and now instead of Sheikh Abdullah, the National Emblem of India, Ashoka Pillar will be engraved in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service Medals.

National Conference spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar said, “Having full respect for the national emblem, I would like to say that the government has taken this step as an attempt to erase the history, identity and identity of our heroes.” Dar said that deleting the names will not change anything but National Conference founder Sheikh Abdullah will always rule the hearts of the people.

He said that wherever the people of Jammu and Kashmir are today, they have fought a long struggle for it. He has always fought against dictatorship and oppression. Nobody can change it. It cannot be changed by changing the name or replacing it with something else.

NC quote – will always be in the hearts of people

Sheikh Abdullah will always be in the hearts of the people. Even if the administration of Jammu and Kashmir and their bosses take any decision. Significantly, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered that the police service medal will no longer have the picture of Sheikh Abdullah, but will be made of Ashoka Pillar.

Not only this, now its name will also not be Sher-e-Kashmir Police Medal but Jammu and Kashmir Police Medal. This decision has been welcomed by many organizations including the BJP, while the National Conference has opposed it. Sheikh Abdullah was the founder of the National Conference and was also the Chief Minister of Kashmir.
