भारत के लिए अच्छी बात ये रही कि जब-जब टीम को विकेट की तलाश थी तो रन आउट के रूप में इंग्लैंड का विकेट गिरा। 6 में से 3 विकेट रन आउट के तौर पर गिरे। यही इंग्लैंड की हार का सबसे बड़ा अंतर रहा।
अब भारतीय टीम को ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच होने वाले दूसरे सेमीफाइनल की विजेता टीम से फाइनल में भिड़ना होगा, जबकि इंग्लैंड की टीम दूसरे सेमीफाइनल की उपविजेता टीम से कांस्य पदक के लिए भिड़ेगी।
