मथुरा | [कोर्ट बुलेटिन] | एक शख्स ने 20 रुपए के लिए 21 साल तक कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ने के बाद भारतीय रेलवे के खिलाफ केस जीत लिया है। दरअसल, उत्तर प्रदेश के मथुरा के रहने वाले शख्स ने रेलवे के बुकिंग क्लर्क द्वारा 20 रुपए अतिरिक्त लेने के मामले में उपभोक्ता फोरम में वाद डाला था, जिस पर 21 साल तक चली सुनवाई के बाद उपभोक्ता फोरम ने अधिवक्ता के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाया और इस तरह से रेलवे के खिलाफ केस में अधिवक्ता की जीत हुई है।

शख्स ने 21 साल तक लंबी कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ी, जिसके बाद उपभोक्ता फोरम ने तुंगनाथ के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाते हुए 20 रुपए प्रतिवर्ष 12 प्रतिशत ब्याज सहित मानसिक, आर्थिक और वाद व्यय के लिए 15 हजार रुपए जुर्माने के रूप में अदा करने का आदेश दिया।

1999 का है मामला

मथुरा के गली पीरपंच निवासी तुंगनाथ चतुर्वेदी 25 दिसंबर 1999 को मुरादाबाद जाने के लिए मथुरा कैंट स्टेशन पर पहुंचे थे। यहां उन्होंने 2 टिकट लेने के लिए बुकिंग क्लर्क से कहा, जिस पर 70 रुपए की टिकट पर बुकिंग क्लर्क ने 90 रुपए ले लिए, जबकि एक टिकट 35 रुपए की थी।

बुकिंग क्लर्क ने वापस नहीं किए 20 रुपए

35 रुपए प्रति व्यक्ति टिकट के हिसाब से 2 टिकट के 70 रुपए होते थे, लेकिन रेलवे के बुकिंग क्लर्क ने 90 रुपए लिए। तुंगनाथ ने बुकिंग क्लर्क से 20 रुपए वापस मांगे लेकिन उन्होंने वापस नहीं किए। काफी देर तक चली बहस के बीच ट्रेन आ गई और तुंगनाथ मुरादाबाद के लिए निकल गए।

उपभोक्ता फोरम में दर्ज कराया केस

निर्धारित रुपए से 20 रुपए ज्यादा वसूलने के मामले में तुंगनाथ ने इस अवैध वसूली के खिलाफ उपभोक्ता फोरम में केस दर्ज करा दिया। केस में जनरल भारत संघ द्वारा जनरल मैनेजर नॉर्थ ईस्ट रेलवे गोरखपुर और मथुरा छावनी रेलवे स्टेशन के विंडो बुकिंग क्लर्क को पार्टी बनाया।

21 साल तक चली कानूनी लड़ाई

तुंगनाथ ने 21 साल तक लंबी कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ी, जिसके बाद उपभोक्ता फोरम ने तुंगनाथ के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाते हुए 20 रुपए प्रतिवर्ष 12 प्रतिशत ब्याज सहित मानसिक, आर्थिक और वाद व्यय के लिए 15 हजार रुपए जुर्माने के रूप में अदा करने का आदेश दिया।

30 दिन के अंदर देनी होगी रेलवे को धनराशि

उपभोक्ता फोरम ने रेलवे को 30 दिन के अंदर धनराशि वापस करने के आदेश दिए हैं। अगर रेलवे 30 दिन के अंदर धनराशि वापस न करने पर 20 रुपए पर 15 प्रतिशत प्रति वर्ष व्याज से रकम चुकानी होगी। तुंगनाथ ने बताया कि न्याय मिलने में समय लगा लेकिन वह संतुष्ट हैं कि आखिर अवैध वसूली के खिलाफ फैसला आया।
