जयपुर | [राजस्थान बुलेटिन] | भारत आजादी की 76 वीं वर्षगांठ बड़े ही धूमधाम के साथ मना रहा है। इन गौरवशाली पल के बीच एक अध्यापक की करतूत ने पूरे आजादी के मायने ही बदल कर रख दिया है। भारत को आजाद हुए 75 साल तो बीत गए हैं लेकिन छुआछूत और वर्ण व्यवस्था से कब आजादी मिलेगी। पिछले दिनों राजस्थान में छुआछूत की खाई ने एक मेधावी दलित छात्र को आजादी की 76 वीं वर्षगांठ में शामिल होने से रोक दिया है। इससे देशभर के लोग आहत हैं। वे भी जो यह कहते नहीं थकते थे कि भारत से अब छुआछूत समाप्त हो गया है। दलित समाज स्तब्ध है। दलित छात्र की मौत से आहत राजस्थान के कांग्रेस विधायक पानाचंद मेघवाल ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। वहीं एक और पार्षद द्वारा इस घटना के विरोध में पद से इस्तीफा दिए जाने की जानकारी सामने आ रही है।

बारां अटरू से कांग्रेस के विधायक पानाचंद मेघवाल ने विधायक पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। विधायक ने मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत को दिए इस्तीफे में जालोर में अध्यापक द्वारा दलित छात्र की पिटाई से हुई मौत से खुद को आहत बताया है। जिस दलित और वंचित वर्ग के लिए बाबा साहेब भीमराव डॉ अंबेडकर ने संविधान में समानता का अधिकार का प्रावधान किया था आज उसकी रक्षा करने वाला कोई नहीं है।

पत्र में ऐसा लिखकर पानाचंद मेघवाल ने कांग्रेस सरकार को विवादों के घेरे में खड़ा किया है। पानाचंद ने दिए इस्तीफे में लिखा कि पार्टी की जिस विचार धारा के साथ जुट कर काम किया उसी से मेरे समाज के लोग दुखी और बेबस हैं। आजादी के 75 साल भी एक बच्चे को मटका छूने पर अध्यापक द्वारा पीट पीट कर मार दिया जाता है, तो कहीं घोड़ी चढ़ने पर दुत्कारा जाता है। न्याय के नाम पर फाइलों को इधर से उधर कर दिया जाता है और बाद में अंत में एफआर तक लगा दी जाती है।

पत्र में यह भी लिखा

पानाचंद मेघवाल ने इस्तीफा देकर मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत को भेजे पत्र में लिखा कि कई बार विधानसभा में मेरे द्वारा दलित और वंचित वर्ग के लिए सवाल उठाए गए लेकिन पुलिस कोई कार्रवाई नहीं करती है। आज भी छुआछूत समाज में इस कदर हावी है कि दलित वर्ग को लगता है उसने इस समाज में पैदा होकर ही गलती कर दी है। अगर हम इतना सब देखने के बाद भी हमारे दलित और वंचित वर्ग के लिए कुछ नहीं कर पाते तो हमें पद पर बने रहने का कोई हक नहीं है।

After 75 years of independence, angry Congress MLA resigns after teacher beat up Dalit student to death

In the midst of these glorious moments, the handiwork of a teacher has changed the meaning of complete freedom. 75 years have passed since India got independence but when will we get freedom from untouchability and caste system. In the past, the untouchability gap in Rajasthan has prevented a meritorious Dalit student from attending the 76th anniversary of independence. People across the country are hurt by this. Even those who used to say that untouchability has now ended in India. Dalit society is shocked. Saddened by the death of a Dalit student, Rajasthan Congress MLA Panachand Meghwal has resigned from his post. At the same time, information is coming out that another councilor has resigned from the post in protest against this incident.

Congress MLA from Baran Atru, Panachand Meghwal has resigned from the post of MLA. In his resignation letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the MLA has described himself as hurt over the death of a Dalit student by a teacher in Jalore. There is no one to protect the downtrodden and deprived class for which Babasaheb Bhimrao Dr.Ambedkar had made provision for equality in the constitution.

By writing this in the letter, Panachand Meghwal has put the Congress government in the midst of controversies. In his resignation letter, Panachand wrote that the people of my society are sad and helpless due to the ideology of the party with which he worked together. Even after 75 years of independence, a child is beaten to death by a teacher for touching a pot, and somewhere he is scolded for climbing a horse. In the name of justice, files are shifted from here to there and later they are finally put up to FR.

Panachand Meghwal resigned and wrote in a letter sent to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot that many times questions have been raised by me in the Vidhan Sabha for the downtrodden and deprived sections but the police does not take any action. Even today, untouchability is so dominant in the society that the downtrodden class feels that it has made a mistake by being born in this society. If we are not able to do anything for our downtrodden and deprived class even after seeing all this, then we have no right to continue in the post.
