बिलासपुर | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | बिलकिस बानो केस में जिस तरह से 11 आरोपियों को गुजरात भाजपा सरकार ने माफी नीति के तहत रिहा कर दिया उनकी रिहाई को लेकर देश भर में ज़बरदस्त बहस छिड़ गई है। देश के तमाम कार्यकर्ताओं और इतिहासकारों सहित 6,000 से ज़्यादा लोगों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से मामले में दोषियों की रिहाई को रद्द करने की अपील की है।
इसी कड़ी में बिलासपुर के “मेरी रात मेरी सड़क” समूह के लोगों ने देवकीनंदन चौक से रैली निकालकर गोलबाजार होते हुए गीत कविता, भाषण के माध्यम से गुरुवार को इस पूरे घटना के विरोध में कैंडल मार्च कर अपना विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान बड़ी संख्या में आम लोगों ने भी इस प्रतिरोध में शामिल होकर रिहा किए। सभी 11 दोषियों के खिलाफ फिर से सजा का प्रावधान शुरू करने की मांग की।
मेरी रात मेरी सड़क संस्था के पदाधिकारियों को कहना है कि जिस तरह से दुष्कर्म जैसे घिनौने मामले में आरोपी बनाए गए लोगों को जेल से रिहा होने के बाद माला पहनाकर, मिठाई खिलाकर, महिमामंडन किया जा रहा है। यह बहुत ही दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण और घिनौना कृत्य है।

वहीं पिछले कुछ सालों में देखा जाए तो इस तरह का चलन बन गया है कि दुष्कर्म जैसे मामलों में जेल से रिहा हुए आरोपियों का जोरदार स्वागत किया जा रहा है जो गलत है। इन घटनाओं से महिला अपराध में वृद्धि होगी।ऐसी घटनाएं पूरे देश को शर्मसार करने वाली है। इन मामलों में संवेदनशील बनने की जरूरत है ना कि दोषियों के स्वागत सत्कार की।
