रायगढ़ | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | जिले में एक व्यक्ति ने कथित रूप से 2 बच्चों को तालाब में डूबाकर मारने के बाद फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली है। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि जिले के चक्रधरनगर थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत भुईयापाली गांव में रविवार शाम नरेश गुप्ता (35) ने कथित रूप से अपने 2 बच्चों शौर्य गुप्ता (5) और सिम्मी गुप्ता (3) की हत्या कर फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली।
उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस को जानकारी मिली है कि रविवार दोपहर नरेश गुप्ता अपने दोनों बच्चों को लेकर साइकिल से गांव के बाहर तालाब की ओर निकला था। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बाद में शाम को ग्रामीणों ने तालाब में शौर्य और सिम्मी का तथा करीब के पेड़ पर फांसी पर नरेश गुप्ता का शव देखा तब उन्होंने इसकी जानकारी पुलिस को दी।
उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस को जब घटना की जानकारी मिली तब घटनास्थल के लिए पुलिस दल रवाना किया गया तथा शवों को बरामद कर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पुलिस को आशंका है कि नरेश ने दोनों बच्चों की हत्या के बाद फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या की। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। जांच के बाद इस संबंध में अधिक जानकारी मिली सकेगी।
Killed two children by drowning them in the pond, then the father committed suicide
Raigarh | [Chhattisgarh Bulletin] | In the district, a man has committed suicide by hanging himself after allegedly drowning two children in a pond. Police officials said that Naresh Gupta (35) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself by killing his two children Shaurya Gupta (5) and Simmi Gupta (3) in Bhuiyapali village under Chakradharnagar police station area of the district on Sunday evening.
He said that the police got information that on Sunday afternoon Naresh Gupta had left the village with his two children towards the pond outside the village. Police officials said that later in the evening, when villagers saw the bodies of Shaurya and Simmi in the pond and Naresh Gupta’s body hanging on a nearby tree, they informed the police.
He said that when the police came to know about the incident, a police team was dispatched to the spot and the bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem. Police officials said that the police suspect that Naresh committed suicide by hanging after killing both the children. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
