रायपुर | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | राज्य में अंग्रेजी स्कूलों के बाद अब स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे। मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने स्टूडेंट्स हित में स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया है। स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले स्टूडेंट्स को 12वीं के बाद हायर एजुकेशन के लिए बाहर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। प्रदेश में ही उच्च शिक्षा की सुविधा मिलेगी। नए शैक्षणिक कैलेंडर जून-2023 से 10 इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे। 3 साल में राज्य के सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज शुरू कर दिए जाएंगे। सीएम ने मुख्य सचिव को 10 दिनों में विस्तृत कार्ययोजना पेश करने को कहा है।

सीएम भूपेश बघेल ने कमजोर तबके और मध्यम वर्गीय परिवारों के बच्चों को इंग्लिश मीडियम में शिक्षा देने स्वामी आत्मानंद अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल की शुरुआत की है। पिछले साल 51 स्कूल शुरू किए गए थे। स्कूलों की लोकप्रियता को देखते हुए अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल की संख्या बढ़कर 247 हो गई है। अब स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श कॉलेज शुरू होने से स्कूलों में पढ़ाई करने वाले बच्चों को अंग्रेजी माध्यम में उच्च शिक्षा हासिल करने बाहर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। बता दें कि सीएम ने 15 अगस्त को 422 स्कूलों में स्वामी आत्मानंद उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय योजना लागू करने की घोषणा की है। इसमें 252 स्कूल बस्तर एवं सरगुजा संभाग में होंगे। नक्सल प्रभावित दंतेवाड़ा जिले के सभी सरकारी हाई स्कूल एवं हायर सेकेंडरी स्कूलों को स्वामी आत्मानंद उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय का बदल दिया जाएगा। सीएम ने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ की शिक्षा क्रांति आने वाले समय में देश का सबसे अच्छा ’एजुकेशन माडल’ होगा।

हर जिले में खुलेंगे इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज

मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज शुरू करने के संबंध में मुख्य सचिव अमिताभ जैन से कहा है कि प्रदेश में अंग्रेजी माध्यम के निजी एवं शासकीय इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल चल रहे हैं। इंग्लिश मीडियम के सरकारी कॉलेज नहीं होने के कारण प्रदेश के विद्यार्थियों को 12वीं के बाद उच्च शिक्षा हासिल करने महानगरों के कॉलेजों में प्रवेश लेना पड़ता है, जिसमें बड़ी राशि खर्च होती है। प्रदेश के स्टूडेंट्स को राज्य में ही इंग्लिश मीडियम में हायर एजुकेशन देने की व्यवस्था की जाए। पहले चरण यानी नए शैक्षणिक सत्र जून-2023 से राज्य के प्रमुख नगरों में कम से कम 10 इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएं। इसी तरह 3 वर्षों में राज्य के सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे।

English medium colleges will open in every district

Regarding starting Swami Atmanand English Medium College, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has told Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain that private and government English medium schools are running in the state. Due to the absence of English medium government colleges, the students of the state have to take admission in metropolitan colleges to pursue higher education after 12th, in which a large amount is spent. Arrangements should be made to provide higher education in English medium to the students of the state in the state itself. In the first phase i.e. from the new academic session June-2023, at least 10 English medium colleges should be opened in major cities of the state. Similarly, English medium colleges will be opened in all the district headquarters of the state in three years.
