जांजगीर-चांपा | [छत्तीसगढ़ बुलेटिन] | जिले में शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने को लेकर 2 पक्षों के बीच भारी विवाद हो गया। मुक्तिधाम में जलती चिता पर पानी डालकर बुझा दिया और शव को बाहर निकाल दिया गया। श्मशान घाट में शव जलाने को लेकर 2 पक्षों के बीच गलीगलौज व जमकर मारपीट भी हो गई। विवाद इतना बढ़ा कि गुस्साए परिजनों व सतनामी समाज के लोगों ने बाराद्वारा-जैजैपुर मार्ग पर शव रखकर सड़क जाम कर दिया।
सूचना पर एसडीएम, तहसीलदार सहित 6 थानों को पुलिस पहुंची। मृतक के परिजन कार्रवाई को लेकर अड़े रहे। सतनामी समाज के लोगों की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने सरपंच सहित 9 लोगों पर अपराध दर्ज किया है। सुरक्षा को लेकर गांव में भारी पुलिस बल भी तैनात किया गया है।
पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक बाराद्वार बस्ती निवासी प्रदीप पाटले (24 वर्ष) ने बुधवार को फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। परिजन शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने मुक्तिधाम पहुंचे।
बारिश के कारण अंतिम संस्कार करने में दिक्कत हो रही थी। गांव में तालाब के पास एक दूसरा श्मशान घाट है, जहां शव का अंतिम संस्कार किया जा रहा था।
मुक्तिधाम में चिता पर लाश जल रही थी। इसी दौरान गांव के कुछ लोग वहां पहुंचे और मुक्तिधाम (श्मशान घाट) को अपने समाज का बताते हुए दाह संस्कार पर आपत्ति करने लगे। इस पर दोनों पक्षों के बीच विवाद हो गया। गालीगलौज और मारपीट भी होने लगी।
आपत्ति करने वालों ने जलती चिता पर पानी डाल दिया और शव को बाहर निकाल दिया। लकड़ियों को फेंकते हुए शव को लात भी मार दी। इससे परिजन और समाज के लोग भड़क गए।
गांव में पुलिस बल तैनात, आरोपी फरार
अंतिम संस्कार रोकने से परिजन और सतनामी समाज के लोग आक्रोशित हो गए। उन्होंने बाराद्वारा-जैजैपुर मार्ग पर शव को सड़क पर रखकर जाम लगा दिया। विवाद की सूचना पर चांपा एसडीओपी, बाराद्वार तहसीलदार सहित 6 थाना के टीआई और पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची। पुलिस व प्रशासन की दखल से के बाद मामला शांत हुआ।
सतनामी समाज के लोग आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग पर अड़े रहे। मृतक के पिता भैयालाल पाटले की शिकायत पर सरपंच जगदीश सहित गांव के 9 लोगों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज गया है। चांपा एसडीओपी पद्मश्री तंवर ने बताया कि श्मशान घाट में चिता जलाने को लेकर विवाद हुआ है।
परिजन की रिपोर्ट पर केस दर्ज किया गया है। घटना के बाद से आरोपी फरार हैं। सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर गांव में पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है।

The burning pyre in Muktidham was extinguished by pouring water and the body was taken out. In the crematorium, there was a lot of ruckus and fierce fighting between the two parties over the burning of the dead body. The dispute increased so much that angry relatives and people of Satnami society blocked the road by placing dead bodies on Baradwara-Jaijaipur road.
On information, police reached 6 police stations including SDM, Tehsildar. The relatives of the deceased remained adamant about the action. On the complaint of the people of Satnami society, the police have registered a crime against 9 people including the sarpanch. Heavy police force has also been deployed in the village for security.
According to information received from the police, Pradeep Patle (24 years), a resident of Baradwar Basti, committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesday. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the relatives. The relatives reached Muktidham to perform the last rites of the dead body.
It was difficult to perform the last rites due to rain. There is a second cremation ground near the pond in the village, where the body was being cremated.
The dead body was burning on the pyre in Muktidham. Meanwhile, some people of the village reached there and started objecting to the cremation, describing Muktidham (crematorium) as belonging to their society. There was a dispute between both the parties on this. Abuse and beatings also started.
The objectors poured water on the burning pyre and took out the body. Throwing the wood, the dead body was also kicked. This enraged the family and the people of the society.
Police force deployed in village, accused absconding
The family members and the people of Satnami community became agitated by stopping the last rites. They blocked the Baradwara-Jajaipur road by keeping the dead body on the road. On the information of the dispute, the team of TI and police of 6 police stations including Champa SDOP, Baradwar Tehsildar reached the spot. The matter was resolved after the intervention of the police and administration.
The people of Satnami community remained adamant on the demand for the arrest of the accused. On the complaint of the deceased’s father Bhaiyalal Patle, a case has been registered against 9 people of the village including Sarpanch Jagdish. Champa SDOP Padmashree Tanwar told that there has been a dispute regarding the burning of pyre in the crematorium.
A case has been registered on the report of the family. The accused are absconding since the incident. Police force has been deployed in the village in view of security.
