भोपाल | [मध्य प्रदेश बुलेटिन] | शादी के 4 साल बाद भी संतान सुख से वंचित महिला मिर्ची बाबा से जा टकराई। बाबा ने पूजा पाठ कर संतान पैदा होने का दावा किया था। भरोसे में आ चुकी महिला संतान की चाह में बाबा से गुफा (आश्रम) में पूजा करवाने को तैयार हो गई। इसके बाद महिला के साथ जो कुछ हुआ उसने भोपाल महिला पुलिस को बता दिया। मामले में पुलिस ने आरोपी बाबा को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
हमेशा चर्चाओं में बने रहने वाले वैराग्यनंद गिरि उर्फ मिर्ची बाबा को भोपाल और ग्वालियर क्राइम ब्रांच ने संयुक्त कार्रवाई करते हुए गिरफ्तार किया है। मिर्ची बाबा को सोमवार रात को ग्वालियर के एक होटल से गिरफ्तार किया गया है। बाबा पर एक दिन पहले ही रायसेन की 28 साल की एक महिला ने भोपाल के महिला थाने में रेप का केस दर्ज कराया है।
पीड़िता ने महिला थाने में दर्ज कराई शिकायत में बताया था कि उसकी शादी को 4 साल हो चुके हैं, लेकिन उसकी गोद हरी (संतान) नहीं हुई, इसलिए मिर्ची बाबा के संपर्क में आई थी। बाबा ने पूजा-पाठ कर संतान होने का दावा किया था। पूजा-पाठ के नाम पर महिला को नशे की गोलियां खिलाकर रेप किया।
पीड़िता ने जब बाबा के इस कृत्य का विरोध किया तो बाबा ने कहा था- “बच्चा ऐसे ही होता है।” घटना इसी साल जुलाई की है। इसी को लेकर आरोपी मिर्ची बाबा को पकड़ने के लिए भोपाल की पुलिस टीम बीती रात ग्वालियर पहुंची, जहां सुबह ग्वालियर पुलिस के सहयोग से बाबा को एक होटल से गिरफ्तार कर भोपाल ले आई।
राजनीति में सक्रिय रहे हैं मिर्ची बाबा
मध्यप्रदेश के पूर्व सीएम दिग्विजय सिंह के खास माने जाने वाले मिर्ची बाबा को कमलनाथ सरकार में राज्यमंत्री का दर्जा प्राप्त था। भाजपा के घुर विरोधी मिर्ची बाबा ने वर्ष 2019 में लोकसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार दिग्विजय सिंह की जीत के लिए भोपाल में 5 क्विंटल लाल मिर्ची स्वाहा किया था।
मिर्ची बाबा ने तब ऐलान किया था कि अगर दिग्विजय सिंह चुनाव नहीं जीते तो वे जल समाधि ले लेंगे। दिग्विजय की हार के बाद उन्होंने जल समाधि लेने के लिए भोपाल कलेक्टर से अनुमति मांगी थी, जो नहीं मिली थी।
मिर्ची बाबा को नागा बाबा का दर्जा प्राप्त है। वे खुद को हरिद्वार के पंचायती निरंजनी अखाड़ा का महामंडलेश्वर कहते हैं।
स्मृति, उनकी बेटी को लेकर दिया था बयान
मिर्ची बाबा ने महंगाई को लेकर केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी पर विवादित बयान देते हुए कहा था- एक समय जब देश में रसोई गैस सिलेंडर की कीमतें सिर्फ 400 रुपए हुआ करती थी, उस वक्त यही स्मृति ईरानी सड़क पर डांस करती थी। आज रसोई गैस की कीमत 1000 रुपए से ज्यादा पहुंच चुकी है तो वह चुप्पी साधे हुए हैं।
स्मृति की बेटी पर भी आरोप लगाते हुए बाबा ने कहा था- तुम्हारी बेटी गोवा में बीयर बार चला रही है और गोमांस बेचने का लाइसेंस ले रखा है। भारत का एक संन्यासी होने के नाते मैं तुम्हें धिक्कारता हूं। उन्होंने कहा था- प्रदेश में गोवंश की हत्याएं नहीं रुक रही हैं। इससे संत समाज आक्रोशित है। उन्होंने कहा था कि मैं गायों को बचाने के लिए मरते दम तक लडूंगा।
सांसद प्रज्ञा ठाकुर को कहा था फर्जी साध्वी
अपने विवादित बयानों को लेकर हमेशा सुर्खियां बटोरने वाले मिर्ची बाबा ने सांसद प्रज्ञा ठाकुर को फर्जी साध्वी कहा था। बाबा ने कहा था कि प्रज्ञा ठाकुर मुझे सर्टिफिकेट दिखाए कि वह किस अखाड़े से है। प्रज्ञा ठाकुर की भाषा भी साध्वी जैसी नहीं है। साध्वी के गुरु कह चुके हैं कि वह मेरी शिष्या नहीं है। मां नर्मदा को साध्वी नाला बताती है। भाजपा में फर्जी साधु-संत पनप रहे हैं और भाजपा में फर्जी संतों की भरमार है।
मिर्ची बाबा पर मुरैना में हो चुका है हमला
मिर्ची बाबा पर 6 महीने पहले मुरैना में हमला हुआ था। वह ग्वालियर से मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान का पुतला दहन करने आ रहे थे। इस दौरान मुरैना बैरियर चौराहे के पुल पार करते ही उनकी गाड़ी को कुछ लोगों ने रोक लिया और मारपीट कर दी। घटना में बाबा को चोट आई थी। बाबा के शिष्यों की भी जमकर पिटाई हुई थी।
एक साल पहले ग्वालियर में भी मिर्ची बाबा पर हमला हुआ था। ग्वालियर के जड़ेरूआ कलां में बाबा का आश्रम है। यहां गोसेवा से जुड़े काम किए जाते हैं। बाबा आश्रम से आ रहे थे, तभी बदमाशों ने उनकी कार रोककर जानलेवा हमला कर दिया था।

Mirchi Baba has been arrested from a hotel in Gwalior on Monday night. A day earlier, a 28-year-old woman from Raisen had filed a rape case against Baba in Bhopal’s Mahila Police Station.
The victim had told in the complaint lodged in the women’s police station that she had been married for 4 years, but her lap was not green (children), so Mirchi came in contact with Baba. Baba had claimed to have a child by worshiping him. In the name of worship, the woman was raped by feeding intoxicating pills.
When the victim protested against this act of Baba, Baba had said – “The child is like this.” The incident happened in July this year. Regarding this, the Bhopal police team reached Gwalior last night to catch the accused Mirchi Baba, where in the morning, with the help of Gwalior police, arrested Baba from a hotel and brought him to Bhopal.
Mirchi Baba has been active in politics
Mirchi Baba, who is considered special of former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh, had the status of Minister of State in the Kamal Nath government. BJP’s staunch opponent Mirchi Baba had burnt 5 quintals of red chillies in Bhopal for the victory of Congress candidate Digvijay Singh in the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019.
Mirchi Baba had then announced that if Digvijay Singh did not win the election, he would take Jal Samadhi. After Digvijay’s defeat, he had sought permission from Bhopal Collector to take Jal Samadhi, which was not received.
Mirchi Baba has the status of Naga Baba. He calls himself Mahamandaleshwar of the Panchayati Niranjani Akhara of Haridwar.
