कुछ भी माँग लो यहाँ बस प्यार न माँगो
छूट जाएँ राह में अपने सभी पीछे
खुदा से इतनी ज्यादा भी रफ्तार न माँगो
इंसाफ पर उसके अगर तुम रखते हो यकीन
तो बद्दुआ किसी के लिए यार न माँगो
माँगना ही है तो माँगो राज दिलों पर
चीज़ तख्त-ओ-ताज सी बेकार न माँगो
रहो ज़रूरतों में, हसरतों को छोड़ दो
सुई से चले काम तो तलवार न माँगो
