भगवान का वरदान है यही है इसकी माया।
खड़ा रहे हर पल, कभी धूप कभी छाया।
रिश्ता बड़ा अनमोल, रहता दिल के पास।
दोस्ती चीज़ है ऐसी, न देखे धर्म न जात।
बंजर जीवन में, बहार ला देता,
रोते हुए को पल में हँसा देता।
नैया जब भी, डूबे भँवर में,
हाथ पकड़ पार लगा देता।
दौलत से दोस्ती नहीं ख़रीदी जाती,
अनमोल दोस्ती ही दौलत बन जाती।
सुर बन कर जीवन में तरंग भर देत,
इंद्रधनुष बन जीवन को रंगीन कर देता।
एक दूजे की ख़ातिर हथेली पे रखते जान
मिसाल है दोस्त हो गए हैं दोस्ती पे क़ुर्बान।
अगर दोस्त का अनमोल रिश्ता पास न होता,
अजनबी रहते सब यहाँ कोई ख़ास न होता।
बुढ़ापे में भी, बचपन को ज़िंदा होते देखा,
एक दोस्त के ग़म में, दूजे का रूह निकलते देखा,
हज़ार नहीं जीवन में एक ही दोस्त ख़ास हो,
पढ़ सके आँखों को वो इतना पास हो।

This is God’s boon, this is its Maya.
Stand every moment, sometimes sunshine and sometimes shadow.
Relationship is very precious, remains near the heart.
Friendship is such a thing, don’t see religion or caste.
In barren life, brings out,
Makes the crying laugh in a moment.
Naya whenever, in the whirlpool immersed,
He would hold hands.
Wealth does not buy friendship,
Only priceless friendship becomes wealth.
By becoming a melody, he would fill the wave in life,
Makes life colorful by becoming a rainbow.
Keeping it on the palm for the sake of each other
For example, friends have become friends.
If the priceless relationship of a friend did not pass,
Everyone would not have been special here if they were strangers.
Even in old age, I saw childhood come alive,
In the sorrow of a friend, saw the soul of the other,
Not a thousand but only one friend is special in life,
He should be so close to the eyes that he can read.
