परिचय– श्रीनगर से….


 

 

श्रीनगर के हवाई अड्डे से 18 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर बदामी बाग छावनी में स्थित यह शिव जी का मंदिर चारों तरफ की हरियाली और कुदरती चश्मे के बीचों बीच पत्थरों की खूबसूरत शिल्पकला का नमूना है।

 

मंदिर के बाहर लगी पाषाण शिला के मुताबिक 10 वीं शताब्दी में बना हुआ यह मंदिर पण्डरथान नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इतना ही नहीं यहां की दिलचस्प बात कहीं जाती है कि,, इसी मंदिर के निर्माण में शिल्पविद्या की शुरुआत यहां से हुई उसके बाद कश्मीर घाटी के बाकी हिस्सों में यह शिल्प कला विकसित हुई।

 

इस मंदिर की खास बात यह है कि,, चारों तरफ से पानी के बीचों बीच बना हुआ यह मंदिर अपने आप में सुंदरता से परिपूर्ण है पूरी तरह शिल्प कलाकारी से बना हुआ एक कक्ष का छोटा सा मंदिर है मगर उसके चारों तरफ से कुदरती चश्में का पानी पर्यटकों को विशेष आकर्षित करता है।

 

मंदिर के चारों तरफ से पानी होने के कारण इसे पानी मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है मंदिर के सबसे नीचे कमल पुष्प की पंखुड़ियों का आकार दिया गया है जिसे देख कर ऐसा लगता है मानो यह मंदिर कमल पुष्प पर स्थित हो।

 

पूरी तरह शिव जी को समर्पित अंदर में साधारण कलाकृति से बना हुआ यह छोटा सा सुंदर मंदिर सभी को अपनी और आकर्षित करता है कहा जाता है यहां पूरी श्रद्धा और विश्वास से जो भी कोई मनोकामना करता है वह पूरी होती है।

 

पूरी तरह आर्मी की छावनी में होने की वजह से बिना परमिशन के आम लोग इस मंदिर को नहीं देख सकते।

 

शिल्पकला से सुशोभित यह प्राचीन मंदिर अपने आप में सुंदरता से परिपूर्ण है। 6 वीं शताब्दी में कहां जाता है सम्राट अशोका ने यहां पर श्रीनगर शहर का शिलान्यास किया था।

 

जो पहले पण्डरथान नाम से जिसका मूल संस्कृत शब्द पुरानाअधिष्ठान था। जो अंत में प्राचीन कश्मीर की राजधानी बना जो आज श्रीनगर के नाम से जाना जाता है।

 

ऐसे अनेकों इतिहास से परिपूर्ण यह श्रीनगर शहर धरती के स्वर्ग जम्मू कश्मीर की राजधानी का यह पानी मंदिर अनेक प्राचीन इतिहास को अपने आप में समाया हुआ है जिसके बारे में जितना जाने और पढ़े उतना ही कम है।

Situated in the Badami Bagh Cantonment, 18 km from the airport of Srinagar, this Shiva temple is a specimen of beautiful stone sculpture in the midst of greenery and natural spectacles all around.

 

According to the stone rock outside the temple, this temple, built in the 10th century, is also known as Pandrathan. Not only this, the interesting thing goes here that, in the construction of this temple, the craftsmanship started from here, after that this craft developed in the rest of the Kashmir Valley.

 

The special thing about this temple is that, this temple, built in the middle of the water from all sides, is full of beauty in itself, it is a small temple of one room completely made of craftsmanship, but from all around it is surrounded by natural spectacles. Water attracts special tourists.

 

Due to the presence of water from all around the temple, it is known as Pani Mandir.

 

Completely dedicated to Shiva, this small beautiful temple made of simple artwork inside attracts everyone and it is said that whoever wishes here with full devotion and faith, it is fulfilled.

 

Due to being completely in the army cantonment, common people cannot see this temple without permission.

 

This ancient temple adorned with sculpture is full of beauty in itself. Where does it go in the 6th century, Emperor Ashoka laid the foundation stone of the city of Srinagar here.

 

Which was earlier named as Pandrathan, whose original Sanskrit word was Puranaadhisthana. Which eventually became the capital of ancient Kashmir which is today known as Srinagar.

 

This city of Srinagar, full of many such histories, is a paradise on earth, this water temple of the capital of Jammu and Kashmir has absorbed many ancient histories in itself, about which less is known and read.
