नई दिल्ली | [नेशनल बुलेटिन] | भारत एक तरफ मंकीपॉक्स और कोरोना वायरस से जूझ रहा है। तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ एक नई बीमारी भारत में अपने पैर पसारने लगी है। यह बीमारी है एचएफएमडी (हैंड, फूट एंड माउथ डिजीज), जिसे टोमैटो फीवर भी कहा जा रहा है। अभी तक भारत में इस बीमारी के 82 मामले दर्ज किए जा चुके हैं। यह मामले 6 मई को केरल के कोल्लम जिले में मिले थे। लैंसेंट जॉर्नल की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इन सभी बच्चों की उम्र 5 साल से कम है। इसका नाम भले ही टोमैटो फ्लू हो, लेकिन इसका टमाटर से कुछ लेना-देना नहीं है।

केरल में उभार, तमिलनाडु व कर्नाटक में अलर्ट
लैसेंट की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि एक तरफ हम कोविड-19 की चौथी लहर की संभावना को लेकर आशंकित हैं। वहीं दूसरी तरफ टोमैटो फ्लू नाम का नया वायरस नई मुसीबत बनकर सामने आ रहा है। यह वायरस केरल में पांच साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को अपनी चपेट में ले रहा है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक यह केरल के अंचलीय इलाकों जैसे आर्याण्कावू और नेदुवातुर में फैल रहा है। बताया जा रहा है कि अचानक से इस बीमारी के फैलने के बाद पड़ोसी राज्यों तमिलनाडु और कर्नाटक में इसको लेकर अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है।
टोमैटो फ्लू का टमाटर से नहीं है लेना-देना
टोमैटो फ्लू या टोमैटो फीवर एक रेयर किस्म की वायरल बीमारी है। इसमें स्किन पर लाल रंग के चकत्ते पड़ जाते हैं, खुजली होती है और डिहाइड्रेशन की समस्या होती है। हालांकि इस बीमारी का टमाटर से कुछ लेना-देना नहीं है, लेकिन इसे टोमैटो-फ्लू इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि इस बीमारी में पड़ने वाले चकत्ते टमाटर से मिलते-जुलते होते हैं। यह संक्रामक रोक की श्रेणी में आता है और पांच साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को अपनी चपेट में ले लेता है।

टोमैटो फ्लू के लक्षण दिखने पर क्या करें
टोमैटो फ्लू के लक्षण दिखते ही बच्चे को एक अच्छे डॉक्टर को दिखाएं। इस बात का ध्यान रखना होगा कि बच्चा खुजली न करे और उसकी साफ-सफाई ठीक ढंग से होनी चाहिए। उसे ठीक तरीके से आराम करने दें और समय-समय पर पानी पिलाते रहें।
