भुवनेश्वर | [ओडिशा बुलेटिन] | राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए झारखंड की पूर्व राज्यपाल द्रौपदी मुर्मू का राजग (NDA) की उम्मीदवार घोषित किये जाने के बाद रायरंगपुर के शिव मंदिर में झाड़ू लगाने का वीडियो सामने आया है। मंदिर में साड़ू लगाकर सफाई करने के बाद राष्ट्रपति प्रत्याशी मुर्मू ने यहां पूजा अर्चना की। राष्ट्रपति पद की प्रत्याशी व लिए झारखंड की पूर्व राज्यपाल द्रोपदी मुर्मू की मंदिर में झाड़ू लगाकर साफ- सफाई करते और पूजा करने का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है।
बता दें कि मुर्मू ने ना सिर्फ शिव मंदिर बल्कि उन्होंने प्रसिद्ध जगन्नाथ मंदिर भी पूजा अर्चना की। राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए NDA की उम्मीदवार द्रौपदी मुर्मू बीते बुधवार जगन्नाथ मंदिर पहुंची और यहां पूजा-अर्चना की।
राष्ट्रपति पद की प्रत्याशी व लिए झारखंड की पूर्व राज्यपाल द्रोपदी मुर्मू आदिवासी समुदाय से ताल्लुक रखने वाली भारत की पहली राष्ट्रपति होंगी। 20 जून 1958 को ओडिशा के मयूरभंज के एक आदिवासी परिवार में द्रौपदी मुर्मू का जन्म हुआ 1979 से 1983 तक ओडिशा सरकार में सिंचाई और बिजली विभाग में जूनियर असिस्टेंट के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दीं।
राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए एनडीए की बतौर उम्मीदवार घोषणा के बाद द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने एएनआई से कहा, “मैं आश्चर्य हूं और मुझे विश्वास नहीं हो रहा। मैं आप सभी की आभारी हूं और ज्यादा बोलने की इच्छा नहीं है। संविधान में राष्ट्रपति की जो भी शक्तियां हैं मैं उसके अनुसार काम करूंगी।”
ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने इस खबर पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि द्रौपदी मुर्मू का NDA के राष्ट्रपति पद के उम्मीदवार के रूप में होना ओडिशा के लिए गर्व का क्षण है। जब प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने मेरे साथ इस पर चर्चा की तो मुझे बहुत खुशी हुई। वहीं पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि “मुझे विश्वास है कि वह एक महान राष्ट्रपति होंगी।”
गौरतलब है कि ओडिशा में सिंचाई और बिजली विभाग में एक कनिष्ठ सहायक से लेकर भाजपा के नेतृत्व वाले राजग की ओर से राष्ट्रपति पद की उम्मीदवार नामित होने तक का सफर आदिवासी नेता द्रौपदी मुर्मू के लिए बेहद लंबा और मुश्किल सफर रहा है। निर्वाचित होने पर मुर्मू आदिवासी समुदाय से ताल्लुक रखने वाली भारत की पहली राष्ट्रपति होंगी।
झारखंड की पूर्व राज्यपाल और आदिवासी नेता द्रौपदी मुर्मू आगामी राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) नीत राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (राजग) की उम्मीदवार होंगी। 20 जून 1958 को ओडिशा के मयूरभंज के एक आदिवासी परिवार में जन्मीं द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने भुवनेश्वर के रामादेवी महिला कॉलेज से स्नातक पूरा किया है।
इसके बाद 1979 से 1983 तक ओडिशा सरकार में सिंचाई और बिजली विभाग में जूनियर असिस्टेंट के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दीं। 1994 से 1997 तक श्री अरबिंदो इंटीग्रल एजुकेश सेंटर रायरंगपुर में बतौर शिक्षक सेवाएं दीं। वहीं साल 2000 से 2004 तक ओडिशा सरकार में राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) के रूप में ट्रांसपोर्ट एवं वाणिज्य विभागल संभाला।

Draupadi Murmu, a presidential candidate and former governor of Jharkhand, will be the first President of India to belong to the tribal community. Draupadi Murmu was born on 20 June 1958 in a tribal family of Mayurbhanj, Odisha and served as Junior Assistant in Irrigation and Electricity Department in the Government of Odisha from 1979 to 1983.
Draupadi Murmu told ANI after the announcement of NDA’s candidate for the presidential election, “I am surprised and I cannot believe it. I am grateful to all of you and do not wish to speak much. Whatever powers the President has in the Constitution. Yes, I will work accordingly.”
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reacted to the news saying that having Draupadi Murmu as the NDA’s presidential candidate is a proud moment for Odisha. I was very happy when Prime Minister Modi discussed this with me. At the same time, PM Modi said that “I believe that she will be a great President.”
Tribal leader Draupadi Murmu’s journey from being a junior assistant in the Irrigation and Power department in Odisha to being nominated as the BJP-led NDA’s presidential candidate has been a long and difficult journey. If elected, Murmu will be the first President of India to belong to the tribal community.
Former Jharkhand governor and tribal leader Draupadi Murmu will be the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming presidential election. Born on 20 June 1958 in a tribal family of Mayurbhanj, Odisha, Draupadi Murmu has completed her graduation from Ramadevi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar.

Served as a teacher at Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Center Rairangpur from 1994 to 1997.
