सावन में है तीज का, एक अलग उल्लास |

प्रेम रंग में भीग कर, कहती जीवन खास | |

जैसे सावन में सदा, होती खूब बहार |

ऐसे ही हर घर सदा, मने तीज त्योहार | |

हाथों में मेंहदी रची, महक रहा है प्यार |

चूड़ी, पायल, करधनी, गोरी के श्रृंगार | |

उत्सव, पर्व, समारोह है, ये हरियाली तीज |

आती है हर साल ये, बोने खुशियां बीज | |

अगर हमीं बोते रहे, राग- द्वेष के बीज |

होंगे फीके प्रेम बिन, सावन हो या तीज ||

बोए मिलकर हम सभी, अगर प्रेम के बीज |

रहे न चिन्ता दुख कभी, हर दिन होगी तीज ||

प्यार-प्रेम सिंचित करें, हृदय यूं दे बीज |

हरी-भरी हो जिंदगी, तभी सफल हो तीज ||

भावहीन अब हो रहे, सभी तीज त्यौहार |

लगे प्यार के बीज यदि, मिटे दिलों की रार | |

सावन झूले हैं कहाँ, और कहाँ है तीज |

मन में भरे कलेश के, सबके काले बीज | |

मन को ऐसे रंग लें, भर दें ऐसा प्यार |

हर पल हर दिन ही रहे, सावन का त्यौहार | |
