(कविता)

चिड़ियों के जिस नीड़ को ध्वस्त करके

हम मकान बनाते हैं

उसी छत पर निर्विकार

फुदकतीं हैं चिड़ियां

उनकी चहचहाहट से

गुलज़ार होते हैं घर- आंगन

उन्हें पास की डालियों पर

झूलते देख ठहर जातीं हैं आंखें

गुलमोहर के सघन पत्तों के बीच

उनींदी आंखों से

भोर के प्रथम स्पर्श में

फड़फड़ाते हुए उड़ जाना

शाम ढले श्रांत-क्लांत पथिक सा

पुनः लौट आना

अच्छा लगता है मुझे

इसी में आश्र्वस्ति है

दिलासा है

विस्मय है

और

है अनथक परिश्रम के बीज।

seeds of labor

(Poem)

by destroying the nest of birds
we build houses
on the same roof
birds chirping
by his twitter
The house-courtyard is buzzing

them on nearby branches
Eyes stop seeing swinging

Between the dense leaves of Gulmohar
with sleepy eyes
at the first touch of dawn
flutter to fly
The late evening
come back
i like it

There is assurance in this
comfort is
is awe
And
These are the seeds of tireless labor.
