भोपाल | [मध्य प्रदेश बुलेटिन] | प्रदेश से राज्यसभा के लिए तीनों प्रत्याशी निर्विरोध चुन लिए गए हैं। इनमें से 2 उम्मीदवार भाजपा जबकि 1 कांग्रेस का था। भाजपा की तरफ से सुमित्रा वाल्मीकि और कविता पाटीदार मैदान में थीं, जबकि कांग्रेस ने विवेक तन्खा को कैंडिडेट बनाया था। विवेक तन्खा दूसरी बार राज्यसभा पहुंचेंगे, वहीं भाजपा प्रत्याशियों के लिए यह पहला मौका होगा।
बता दें कि राज्यसभा में मध्य प्रदेश से 3 सदस्यों का कार्यकाल 29 जून 2022 को खत्म हो रहा है। इनमें से 2 भाजपा के संपतिया उइके व एमजे अकबर और कांग्रेस के विवेक तन्खा शामिल हैं।
मध्य प्रदेश में राज्यसभा की कुल 11 सीटें
तीनों ही प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन पत्र छंटनी में सही पाए गए। वहीं मैदान में इनके सामने किसी और प्रत्याशी के न होने के चलते तीनों को निर्विरोध निर्वाचित घोषित कर दिया गया। गौरतलब है कि मध्य प्रदेश में राज्यसभा के लिए 11 सीटें हैं जिनमें से 8 सीटें भाजपा और 3 सीटें कांग्रेस के पास हैं। भाजपा की 8 सीटों में से 6 सीटों पर धर्मेंद्र प्रधान, ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया, एम मुरुगन, सुमेर सिंह सोलंकी, अजय प्रताप सिंह, कैलाश सोनी राज्यसभा सदस्य हैं और अब 2 महिला कविता पाटीदार व सुमित्रा वाल्मीकि राज्यसभा जा रही हैं। वहीं, कांग्रेस की तीन सीटों में से दिग्विजय सिंह व राजमणि पटेल अभी राज्यसभा में हैं। विवेक तन्खा को दूसरी बार कांग्रेस ने राज्यसभा भेजा है।
ओबीसी और दलित वोटरों पर निगाह
गौरतलब है कि मध्य प्रदेश में भाजप की दोनों उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा के बाद से ही इनका नाम चर्चा में है। राजनीतिक विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि ओबीसी और दलित वर्ग से राज्यसभा उम्मीदवार चुनकर भाजपा ने आगामी निकाय चुनावों के साथ-साथ विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए वोट बैंक का मामला सेट कर लिया है। बता दें कि भाजपा की नई राज्यसभा सदस्यों में कविता पाटीदार ओबीसी वर्ग से आती हैं। वहीं सुमित्रा वाल्मीकि दलित वर्ग का प्रतिनिधित्व करतीं हैं।
BJP’s Sumitra Valmiki and Kavita Patidar and Congress’s Vivek Tankha reached Rajya Sabha unopposed from MP

Sumitra Valmiki and Kavita Patidar were in the fray from BJP, while Congress had made Vivek Tankha as its candidate. Vivek Tankha will reach Rajya Sabha for the second time, while this will be the first time for BJP candidates.
Let us tell you that the term of 3 members from Madhya Pradesh in Rajya Sabha is ending on 29 June 2022. Two of these include Samtiya Uikey and MJ Akbar of BJP and Vivek Tankha of Congress.
Total 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh
The nomination papers of all the three candidates were found correct in the sorting. At the same time, due to the absence of any other candidate in front of them, all three were declared elected unopposed. Significantly, there are 11 seats for Rajya Sabha in Madhya Pradesh, out of which 8 seats are with BJP and 3 seats with Congress. Dharmendra Pradhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, M Murugan, Sumer Singh Solanki, Ajay Pratap Singh, Kailash Soni are Rajya Sabha members in 6 out of 8 seats of BJP and now 2 women Kavita Patidar and Sumitra Valmiki are going to Rajya Sabha. At the same time, out of three Congress seats, Digvijay Singh and Rajmani Patel are currently in the Rajya Sabha. Congress has sent Vivek Tankha to Rajya Sabha for the second time.
Eye on OBC and Dalit voters
It is worth noting that since the announcement of both the candidates of BJP in Madhya Pradesh, their name is in the discussion. Political experts say that by choosing Rajya Sabha candidates from OBCs and Depressed Classes, BJP has set the matter of vote bank for the upcoming civic polls as well as assembly elections. Let us tell you that Kavita Patidar comes from the OBC category among the new Rajya Sabha members of the BJP. While Sumitra Valmiki represents the Dalit class.
