बदल दिया निजाम किसी ने प्यार का।
फूलों का नहीं जमाना ये खार का ।।
इज्जत का मायना फालतू लगता है ।
इसिलिए काम किये जाते इनकार का ।।
जानवरों का ऐसा दस्तुर रहा है ।
सदा खयाल रखते अपने शिकार का।।
अमीर गरीबी का किस्सा बरसों का ।
मोहब्बत करने को डर इनकार का।।
हैसियत देख कर प्यार कौन करता ।
बाद में हादसा होता तक़रार का ।।
बाढ़ पीड़ितों को मदत कौन करता है ।
यह काम भी होता है सरकार का ।।
गरीबों का भला महंगाई कम में।
काम बनता है वतन के मुख्तार का ।।
‘शहज़ाद’ सभी की भलाई में अपनी ।
फर्ज निभाओ जो होता कलमकार का।।
