परिचय- मुंगेली, छत्तीसगढ़.

छुआछूत एक अभिशाप है, भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद -17 के द्वारा अपृश्यता का अंत कर दिया गया है। फिर भी समाज में आज अपृश्यता जैसे दुष्कर्म प्रतिदिन, प्रतिपल हो रहा है। छुआछूत समाज में कुष्ठ रोग की तरह फैल गया है और समाज रूपी शरीर को प्रतिदिन, प्रतिक्षण अपनों से अलग कर रहा है।

यदि समाज शरीर है तो छुआछूत शरीर में फैले कुष्ठ रोग की तरह है, जिस प्रकार किसी शरीर का अलग – अलग अंग (हिस्सा) कुष्ठ रोग के कारण गल- गल कर एक – एक करके अलग हो जाता है। ठीक उसी प्रकार छुआछूत के कारण हमारे अपने लोग एक – एक करके अलग हो रहे हैं। आज देश को स्वतंत्र हुए 75 वर्ष हो गया है। इस वर्ष भारत अपनी आजादी का 75 वीं वर्षगांठ “आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव” के रूप में मना रहा है। फिर भी हम समाज में फैले इस बुराई (रोग) को पूर्णतः समाप्त नहीं कर पाए हैं।

आए दिन अखबारों में ऊंच – नीच, और छुआछूत की भावना के कारण हजारों, लाखों, करोड़ों, अरबों, निर्दोष मुनुष्यों और जीवों के साथ भेदभाव, अन्याय, अत्याचार, अनाचार, अधर्म हो रहा है। यह सब देखकर मुझे पीड़ा होती है। यह सब, कुछ लोगों के अज्ञानता के कारण हो रहा है। जो परमात्मा का वास्तविक स्वरूप को नहीं जानने के कारण हो रहा है।

श्रीमद्भागवत गीता में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने स्वयं कहा है – मैं ही सृष्टि कर्ता हूं, मैं ही सृष्टि (ब्रह्मांड) हूं, मैं सृष्टि के कण – कण में निवास करता हूं। हर जीवों में चाहे वह जड़ हो या चेतन सब में मैं आत्मा के रूप में निवास करता हूं। जब पूरा सृष्टि ही परमात्मा है, और मनुष्य या कोई भी जीव स्वयं परमात्मा का अंश (रूप) है, तो हम किसके प्रति छुआछूत कर रहें हैं ? स्वयं परमात्मा के प्रति ! ईश्वर तो कण – कण में निवास करता है, तो क्या वह सभी मनुष्य या जीवों में निवास नहीं करता ?

बिल्कुल ईश्वर मनुष्य, जीवों, प्रकृति, ब्रम्हांड के कण – कण में निवास करता है। तो लोग छुआछूत किसके प्रति कर रहें हैं ? स्वयं ईश्वर के प्रति। आदिशंकराचार्य ने अद्वैतवाद का सिद्धांत दिया है, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया है आत्मा और ईश्वर दोनों अलग – अलग नहीं है, बल्कि आत्मा और परमात्मा दोनों एक ही है। तो क्या जिससे लोग छुआछूत ऊंच – नीच का भेदभाव करते हैं, वह मनुष्य या जीव के अंदर आत्मा नहीं है ? वह स्वयं परमात्मा नहीं है ? बिल्कुल है!

जिन लोगों ने छुआछूत, ऊंच – नीच का खेल खेला है, वे लोग किससे खेले है ? किसे आज तक कष्ट पहुंचाया है ? किसे आज तक पीड़ा दिया है ? किससे आज तक घृणा किया है ? स्वयं गहन विचार करें ? और अपने अंदर बैठे सूक्ष्म रूप में आत्मा (परमात्मा) से पूछे क्या जो वह कर रहें हैं, वह ठीक है ? इन प्रश्नों का उत्तर उन्हें मिल जायेगा।

श्रीमद्भागवतगीता में स्वयं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा है – मेरी दृष्टि में न हीं कोई बड़ा होता है न हीं कोई छोटा, न हीं कोई ऊंचा होता है न हीं कोई नीचा। मनुष्य या जीव अपने कर्मों से महान् होता है, कर्म ही मनुष्य या जीवों को श्रेष्ठ बनाता है।कोई वर्ण, जाति, धर्म से बड़ा या छोटा नहीं होता है। जिसके कर्म उत्तम है वही सर्वश्रेष्ठ है, और जिसके कर्म उत्तम नहीं है वह निकृष्ट है।

ऊंचे कुल या जाति में जन्म लेने मात्र से मनुष्य या जीव ऊंचा या श्रेष्ठ नहीं होता है, बल्कि व्यक्ति या जीव ऊंचा या श्रेष्ठ कर्म करके ऊंचा या सर्वश्रेष्ठ बन सकता है।

ठीक उसी प्रकार नीचे या निम्न कुल या जाति में जन्म लेने से कोई मनुष्य या जीव नीचा नहीं हो जाता है, यदि नीचे या निम्न कुल में जन्म लेकर उत्तम कार्य करता है, तो वह मनुष्य या जीव उस मनुष्य या जीव से सर्वश्रेष्ठ है, जो ऊंचे कुल या जाति में जन्म लेकर नीच कर्म करते हैं। यदि किसी व्यक्ति का चार या सात पुत्र या पुत्रियां हो तो क्या वह उनसे भेदभाव करता है ? बिल्कुल नही! ठीक उसी प्रकार ईश्वर के हम सभी पुत्र – पुत्रियां हैं, हम सब भाई – बहनें हैं, क्या हमारे पिता – माता (परमात्मा) हमसे भेदभाव करेंगे ? कदापि नहीं !

क्या ऊंच – नीच, छुआछूत, बड़ा, छोटा, वर्ण,जाति, धर्म, संप्रदाय के नाम पर हमें आपस में लड़ते देखकर परमात्मा खुश होते होंगे ? कदापि नहीं! चाहे व्यक्ति या जीव कोई भी वर्ण, जाति, प्रजाति, धर्म, वंश का हो, जड़ हो या चेतन, मानव हो या दानव, जंतु हो या वनस्पति सभी के अंदर परमात्मा आत्मा के रूप में निवासरत है, हम सब नफरत, घृणा, ऊंच – नीच का भेदभाव, वर्ण, जाति, धर्म, संप्रदाय से ऊपर उठकर यह स्मरण रखें, कि हम सब अलग अलग नहीं हैं, हमारे अंदर तो एक ही परमात्मा का अंश है, हम एक ही माता – पिता के पुत्र – पुत्रियां हैं और हम सभी शुद्ध आत्मा हैं।

हम सब एक हैं, सभी परमात्मा के प्रतिरूप हैं सभी परमात्मा ही है। सभी सत, चित और आनंद हैं, अर्थात् सच्चिदानंद स्वरुप हैं। हमारे देवी – देवताओं, महापुरुषों ने भी इस बुराई का अंत किया था। चाहे श्रीराम हो या श्रीकृष्ण चाहे गौतमबुद्ध हो या गांधी (महात्मा गांधी) सभी ने इस अभिशाप को समाज से दूर किया था। फिर भी कुछ लोग आज तक नहीं समझ पाए हैं।

इसलिए आपस में प्रेम, एकता और भाईचारा के साथ रहें, सभी मनुष्य और जीवजंतु आपस में मिलकर रहें। विश्वबंधुत्व की भावना से रहें, पूरा देश, विश्व एक परिवार है।

untouchability; a curse

Untouchability is a curse, untouchability has been abolished by Article 17 of the Indian Constitution. Yet in the society today, misdeeds like untouchability are happening every day, every day. Untouchability has spread like leprosy in the society and is separating the body of the society from its loved ones every day.

If society is a body, then untouchability is like leprosy spreading in the body, just as different parts of a body get separated one by one due to leprosy. In the same way, our own people are getting separated one by one because of untouchability. Today it has been 75 years since the country became independent. This year India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its independence as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Still we have not been able to completely eliminate this evil (disease) spread in the society.

Thousands, lakhs, crores, billions, innocent human beings and living beings are being subjected to discrimination, injustice, tyranny, incest, adharma due to the feeling of high and low, and untouchability in the newspapers day by day. It hurts me to see all this. All this is happening due to ignorance of some people. Which is happening because of not knowing the real nature of God.

Lord Shri Krishna himself has said in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta – I am the creator, I am the universe (universe), I reside in every particle of the creation. In every living being, whether it is inert or conscious, I reside in the form of soul. When the whole creation is God, and man or any living being is a part (form) of God Himself, then to whom are we untouchable? To God Himself! God resides in every particle, so does not He reside in all human beings or living beings?

Absolutely God resides in every particle of man, living beings, nature, universe. So to whom are people doing untouchability? To God himself. Adishankaracharya has given the principle of monism, in which he has told that both soul and God are not separate, but both soul and God are one. So is it not the soul within the human being or the soul from which people discriminate between untouchability, high and low? He is not God Himself? Absolutely is!

People who have played the game of untouchability, high and low, with whom have they played? Who has hurt till date? Who has hurt till date? Whom have you hated till date? Think deeply? And ask the soul (Parmatma) sitting inside you in a subtle form, whether what he is doing is right? They will get answers to these questions.

Lord Shri Krishna himself has said in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta – In my eyes, no one is big, no one is small, no one is high and no one is low. Man or living being is great by his actions, Karma makes man or living beings superior. No one is bigger or smaller than Varna, caste, religion. He whose deeds are good is the best, and he whose deeds are not good is the worst.

Mere birth in a high clan or caste does not make a man or a living entity high or superior, but a person or a living entity can become elevated or the best by doing high or noble deeds.

In the same way, by taking birth in a lower or lower family or caste, no human or creature becomes inferior, if taking birth in a lower or lower family does good work, then that human or creature is superior to that human or creature, who By taking birth in a high clan or caste, they perform lowly deeds. If a person has four or seven sons or daughters, does he discriminate against them? Absolutely not! In the same way we are all sons and daughters of God, we are all brothers and sisters, will our father and mother (Parmatma) discriminate against us? not at all !

Would God be pleased to see us fighting amongst ourselves in the name of high and low, untouchability, big, small, varna, caste, religion, sect? not at all! Whether the person or creature is of any color, race, species, religion, lineage, inert or animate, human or demon, animal or plant, God resides within everyone in the form of soul,

Let us all rise above hatred, hatred, high and low, varna, caste, religion, sect and remember that we are not all different, there is only one part of God in us, we are one parent. We have sons and daughters and we are all pure souls.

We are all one, all are images of God, all are God. All are Sat, Chit and Ananda, that is, they are forms of Satchidananda. Our gods and goddesses, great men also put an end to this evil. Be it Shri Ram or Shri Krishna, whether Gautam Buddha or Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) all had removed this curse from the society. Still some people still do not understand.

So live together with love, unity and brotherhood, let all human beings and animals live together. Live in the spirit of universal brotherhood, the whole country, the world is one family.
