देश की आन बान सैनिक
संविदा कर्मचारी हो गया
चार वर्ष का सैनिक देखो
जवानी में रिटायर हो गया
पहले ही था पथ पथरीला
अब वो अग्निपथ हो गया
नाम बदलने की ये हद हुई
देश से खिलवाड़ हो गया
शान से कहते जिसे फौजी
अब वो अग्निवीर हो गया

क्या सोच कर लिया निर्णय
आम जनता को ये ठग गया
कर रहे थे युवा फौज तैयारी
सपना यूँ चकनाचूर हो गया

चार साल के बाद क्या करेंगे
सवाल फिर रोटी का हो गया
देश की सरहदों के साथ भी
ये कैसा कठोर अनर्थ हो गया

सीमाओं से क्यों है समझौता
पहरेदार भी कमजोर हो गया
दुश्मन कोई घात कर जाएगा
मुखबिर अपना कोई हो गया

हथियार चला बना बेरोजगार
क्या करेंगे ये उपद्रवी हो गया
क्या होगा कोई इसका उपाय
जो ये प्रयोग निष्फल हो गया
