परिचय– मुंबई, महाराष्ट्र.
जीने का अंदाज सबका बदल रहा भाई,
दिनोदिन काट खा रही देखो महंगाई।
कितनी समस्याएँ हमारी बहस में टंगी,
सूखा नेवाला भी छीन रही महंगाई।
हलाल होता है ज्यादा बेचारा निर्धन,
आटा, दाल, सत्तू छीन रही है महंगाई।
बिलबिला रहे हैं बच्चे भूख से बेचारे,
सिर पे चढ़के नाच रही देखो महंगाई।
पेट्रोल में लगी आग, डीजल उठे धुँआ,
डस रही हरेक को निशिदिन महंगाई।
होती है बहस रोज देखो राजनीति पर,
खिला रही टीव्ही को गोलगप्पे महंगाई।
दाम खूब चढ़ा है आजकल वस्तुओंका,
हरेक की कमर तोड़ रही है महंगाई।
एक अदद घर भी खरीदना हुआ मुहाल,
सातवें आसमान पे चढ़ रही महंगाई।
बाजार के उतार-चढ़ाव से कैसे हम बचें,
सुरसाडायन की तरह बढ़ रही महंगाई।
बढ़ रही रोज सफेदपोशों की कमाई,
नाक में हमारे दम कर रखी है महंगाई।

Dearness !
Everyone’s style of living is changing brother,
Look at the inflation that is being cut day by day.
How many problems hang in our debate,
Drought is also snatching inflation.
Halal is more poor poor,
Inflation is snatching flour, pulses, sattu.
Poor children are crying because of hunger,
Look at inflation dancing on top of your head.
Petrol caught fire, diesel smoked,
Inflation is hurting everyone.
Everyday there is debate on politics,
Golgappa inflation to the TV that is feeding.
The price of goods has gone up a lot these days,
Inflation is breaking everyone’s back.
It was a pleasure to buy even a single house.
Inflation rising to the seventh heaven.
How do we survive the ups and downs of the market?
Inflation rising like sursadion.
Increasing daily white collar earnings,
Inflation has stuck in our nose.
