एक वक्त था, जब अंधेरा देख डर जाते थे।
बिन रोशनी की एक पल रह नहीं पाते थे।
जब से ज़िन्दगी को क़रीब जानने लगे ।
अंधेरा की हर एक ख़ूबी को पहचानने लगे ।

दोस्त से बढ़कर भी, अंधेरा साथ होता है।
शायद इसलिए साया औऱ अंधेरा पास होता है।
एक ही रंग है , एक वजूद, एक है इनका एहसास,
ज़िन्दगी में ज़मझ लो इसे, यही रहता है अपने पास।

तन्हाई में भी अब रौशनी बिल्कुल अच्छी नहीं लगती।
सच के अंधेरे में, झूठ की रौशनी सच्ची नहीं लगती।
ठोकर भी लगे अंधेरे में, तो जीने के हुनर सिखाती है।
अंधेरा जितना भी गहरा हो, रौशनी बन उभर आती है।

darkness is my friend

There was a time, when I used to get scared seeing the darkness.
He could not live without light for a moment.
Ever since I started getting to know life closer.
He began to recognize each and every feature of darkness.

Even more than a friend, darkness is with you.
Maybe that’s why shadow and darkness pass.
There is only one color, one existence, one feeling,
Take care of it in life, it remains with you.

Even in loneliness, the light does not look good at all.
In the darkness of the truth, the light of a lie does not seem true.
Even in the dark when you stumble, it teaches you the skills of living.
The darker the darkness, the more light emerges.
