परिचय– बारां, राजस्थान.

हो गई स्याह वह सुबह,

जो देख रहा था कल आशा से,

हो गया गुम वह सूरज क्षितिज में,

जो बिखेर रहा था लालिमा अपनी,

देख रहा हूँ अब आकाश को,

बिल्कुल शून्य की तरहां अब मैं।

अंतर सिर्फ इतना सा है कि,

परवाज अब पक्षियों की नहीं है,

नजर नहीं आ रही है वह चिड़िया भी,

जो थी बहुत चंचल और सुंदर,

करना चाहता था जिसका शिकार,

कोई शिकारी अपने तीर कभी।

हो गई मन्द्विम वह लौ भी,

जिससे थी रोशनी कमरे में,

और बन गई वह भी हवा अब,

जो नजर आती थी मोती सी,

ओस की तरह जमीं पर सुबह,

जो होती थी शीतल हवा लिये।

बन गया अब वह धूम सा,

जिसको मानता था भविष्य,

एक सुनहरा सपना जीवन का,

खामोश है अब वो लब ,

चेहरा है अब झुका हुआ,

और खड़ा हूँ एक बूत सा,

क्योंकि हो गई स्याह वह सुबह।

it was dark that morning

It was dark that morning,
Who was watching yesterday with hope,
That sun is lost in the horizon,
The one who was spreading his redness,
I am looking at the sky now,
Just like zero now.

The only difference is that,
The love is no longer for the birds,
Can’t see that bird too,
who was very playful and beautiful,
wanted to hunt
No hunter ever shoots his arrows.

That flame has also become madwim,
Due to which there was light in the room,
And now that air has become,
The one who looked like a pearl,
Morning on the ground like dew,
What used to be cool air.

Now it has become like a fumes,
who believed in the future,
A golden dream of life,
is silent now that love,
The face is now tilted,
And I’m standing like a proof,
Because it was dark that morning.
