परिचय– बारां(राजस्थान)

तुम आज जो हंस रहे हो,

जिसकी खामोशी को देखकर,

उसके मुर्दनी स्वर पर,

जो निकलता है उसके कण्ठ से,

या फिर उसकी तूलिका से।

अपने तरकश के तीरों से तुम,

हाथों में लेकर गर्म छड़ें तुम,

कर रहे हो उसके टुकड़े आज,

शून्य का भाव उसमें पैदा कर,

किया है जिसको तुमने,

निर्मूल और पतझड़ सा एक दरख़्त।

तुम विश्वास करो या मत करो,

यही वृक्ष इस जमीन पर,

इसी आतप में बनेगा वटवृक्ष,

एक ऐसी पहेली जो कभी,

नहीं सुनी होगी तुमने जीवन में,

और नहीं पढ़ी होगी कभी,

किसी किताब में तुमने

ऐसी एक अमर कृति,

श्रृंगारित संस्कारों से इस धरा पर,

जिससे आबाद होगा उसका नाम,

उसकी मातृभूमि करेगी गर्व,

उसके संघर्ष और संस्कारों पर,

और होगा उसका नाम अमर,

सच , एक दिन।

Seeing whose silence

on his murky voice,

From the gorge of the one who comes out,

Or with his paintbrush.

You with the arrows of your quiver,

You take hot sticks in your hands,

doing pieces of it today,

Create a sense of zero in it,

what you have done,

A tree like a deciduous and deciduous tree.
